It is never easy to make it to the top of the leaderboards when it comes to matchmaking ranking. It takes time and dedication. You also need to win thousands of games. It may not be a big deal to some people, but for some dedicated Dota 2  players, it is their crowning glory.

But we don’t always win, and it’s kinda frustrating. And sometimes, the only thing that can comfort us is to constantly tell ourselves that it is more important to enjoy the game and ignore stats. Even the legendary Dendi once said that ‘MMR is a just number’. But you can’t also deny the fact that it is more fulfilling to enjoy the game and at the same time be on top just like what these professional players have achieved.

Dota 2 Players that has 10,000 Solo MMR:

Abed Yusop

Abed Yusop is a well-known Mid player from the Philippines. He was the first Filipino player to reach 9000 MMR and was the first player to ever reach 10,000 Solo MMR. 

This talented mid-player started playing Dota 2 way back in 2014 and became famous for his signature picks like Meepo and Invoker. He already played in The International Twice, from 2017 and 2019, and placed 9th-12th and 13th-16th respectively. He is currently playing with Evil Geniuses and with fellow 10k MMR players, Ramzes, SumaiL, and Arteezy.

MidOne

Adding to the list of SEA Superstars that belong in the 10k MMR list is Yeik Nai Zheng or famously known as “MidOne” from Malaysia. He is the first SouthEast Asian to reach 8000 MMR and became the first player to reach 10,000 MMR on the SEA servers. 

He is currently playing for two-time back-to-back TI champions OG after his stints with Team Secret where they won 4th place last Ti9 and a short tenure with Sea Monkeys.

Arteezy

Artour Babaev also known as Arteezy is a professional Dota 2 Player famous for his carry roles and widely popular streams. He became the third player to reach a matchmaking rating of 10,000.

He is currently playing with Evil Geniuses, his team since 2016, with fellow achievers Abed, Ramzes, and SumaiL. They placed 5th-6th and 3rd on the last TI tournaments respectively.

Ramzes

Romanov Kushnarev from Russia started playing Dota 2 way back in 2015. He is well known for his stints with Virtus Pro where they won high-tier tournaments and eventually placing 9th-12th in TI9 with the team. This young prodigy became the 4th overall and the first CIS player to reach 10,000 Solo MMR. He is also one of two players (Ana) who is under the age of only 20 to play 3 consecutive TI’s.

He is currently playing with Evil Geniuses, after his-3 year stint with Virtus Pro.

Aliwi Omar is a Romanian/Syrian professional Dota 2 player who is the first ever to reach 8000 MMR. He is a famous pub star even before going into the pro scene and later became famous for his hero pick, Meepo, and reached the 10,000 MMR Mark last February 2020. His squad, Team Nigma, was the runner-up last TI9.

He is currently playing for Team Nigma, a team Kuroky formed together with Miracle, MinD_ContRoL, and GH.

Mikoto

Rafli Fathur Rahman is the first Indonesian player, 4th SEA player to break the ceiling of 10k MMR. He is a Solo Mid player famous for his Templar Assassin, Ember, and a lot more.

He is currently playing for BOOM Esports, a team composed of Indonesian players. 

NothingToSay

Following in the footsteps of his MidOne, Cheng Jin Xiang is the 2nd Malaysian player to reach the 10,000 Solo MMR last March 10, 2020.

He is currently playing for EHOME together with Chinese players Sylar, Faith_bian, XinQ, and y `.

Raven

Marc Polo Luis from the Philippines is the 2nd Filipino player to join the 10k MMR Club. He is also famous for his stints with TNC Predator where they won multiple high-tier tournaments.

He is currently playing for Geek Fam alongside his long-time friend and teammate, KuKu.

Armel

Armel Paul Tabios is the 3rd Filipino Dota 2 Player to reach the 10k MMR threshold. He announced this feat on his Twitter account and was congratulated by his fans. He joins Abed and Raven as the only Filipino players to have achieved this.

He’s been playing with TNC Predator since 2018 and recently won a major at MDL Chengdu, making them qualify for The International 10.

Vladimir Minenko is a Ukrainian Dota 2 player and the 2nd CIS and tenth overall to reach 10,000 MMR. He started playing Dota 2 after TI12 and has won high-tier tournaments ever since.

He is a longtime player for Virtus.Pro and joins former teammate Ramzes in the 10k club.

V-Tune

Alik Vorobey is a newbie in the Pro Scene and first surfaced in 2018 with the Odium squad. He may not be on the radar for some teams but the way he progresses on the leaderboards and reaching 10,000 Solo MMR makes it clear that we will expect more from him soon.

He is currently playing for FlyToMoon.

Limmp

Linus Blomdin is a veteran and je has been playing since 2014, most of it with compLexity gaming. His experience in the pro scene and his skill as a mid-player make it a no-brainer why he has reached the 10,000 MMR club.

He is currently playing Solo Mid for Alliance.

SumaiL

Syed Sumail is one of the well-known players in the Dota 2 Scene. He is a TI champion at the age of 16 and has been playing in every TI ever since. Together with his achievements and now reaching the 10,000 Solo MMR, he has now cemented himself as one of the greatest players we have ever seen.

He is currently playing for the two-time back-to-back TI champions, OG together with MidOne, Topson, N0taiL and, Saksa.

Andreas Franck Nielsen is the 4th player in the current Evil Geniuses lineup to reach the 10k Solo MMR. He announced this feat on his Twitter account after reaching 10,010. His career started flourishing in 2015 when he joined OG, winning multiple tournaments including Majors. He is one of the best support players in the professional scene and last T18, he had the highest average assist of 19.11 per game.

He is currently playing for Evil Geniuses with fellow achievers Abed, Ramzes, and Arteezy.

Scofield

It has been a good start for Elvis De la Cruz Peña’s professional career for this year as after winning the ESL Online South American Region Championships, it was revealed that he already reached the 10,000 Solo MMR mark. He is the first-ever player in South America to reach the 10k milestone. Scofield expressed his gratitude toward his fans and leaving a message that “If I can achieve it, you too can”.

He is currently playing for beastcoast.

Skem

Rolen Andrei Gabriel Ong is the 4th Filipino professional Dota 2 Player to reach 10,000 Solo MMR. He is a former player from Complexity Gaming.

He is currently playing for a New Filipino Dota 2 Team, Reech Apex together with ryOyr, Julz, Young God, and LJSL.

Xm

Guo Hongcheng is the first Chinese professional Dota 2 Player and 16th over to join the 10,000 Solo MMR Club. He announced his feat on Weibo by posting a screengrab from his Dota 2 Client.

This young prodigy is currently playing for CDEC Gaming.

Dream

Joining the 10,000 Solor MMR Club is Kyrgyzstani professional Dota 2 player Kiyalbek “Dream” Tayirov. He posted a screenshot of this achievement on Twitter last April 22, 2020. He is the 18th player to hit the 10K MMR mark.

He is currently playing Hard-Carry for Gambit Esports.

miCKe

Michael Vu, a Swedish professional Dota 2 player, is the 19th person to join the 10,000 Solo MMR mark. He posted this feat on his Twitter account last April 27, 2020. He is a former Heroes of Newerth player who switched to playing professional Dota 2.

He is currently playing for Team Liquid.

23savage

Nuengnara Teeramahanon is the 20th player and the first Thai player to hit the 10,000 Solo MMR mark. He posted the achievement on his Twitter account claiming that he doesn’t have to spam the Morphling-Earthshaker combo to attain the feat. He adds to the growing list of SEA players to join the 10K MMR club.

He is currently playing carry for Fnatic.

Jabz

Following the footsteps of his fellow Thai Player 23savage is Anucha ‘Jabz’ Jirawong. He is the 21st player to hit the 10,000 Solo MMR mark. He is one of the best support players in the South East Asian region.

He is currently playing for Fnatic.

Mnz

Alonso Leon is the 2nd Peruvian player to join the 10,000 Solo MMR club. He and Scofield are currently the only players from Peru to have achieved this feat.

He is currently playing for Thunder Predator.

Saksa

Martin Sazdov is a Macedonian professional Dota 2 player and 23rd player to hit the 10k MMR mark. He started playing Dota at the age of 10 and decided to focus on the game after leaving his university.

He is currently playing for OG Esports together with fellow 10K achievers MidOne and SumaiL.

AlaCrity

Vincent Hiew Teck Yoong is the 3rd Malaysian professional Dota 2 player to join the 10,000 Solo MMR club. AlaCrity is the 24th overall player to have joined this growing list of 10k achievers.

He is currently playing for Reality Rift.

Destrice

Adrian Eng is the 25th professional Dota 2 player to reach the 10k MMR Mark. He joins fellow Malaysians Mid0ne, NothingToSay, and Alactrity in the growing number of SEA players joining the feat.

He is currently playing for Team Oracle.

Mac

Nicholson Villanueva is the 5th Filipino and 26th overall Professional Dota 2 to break the ceiling of 10k MMR. He joins fellow Filipinos Abed, Raven, Armel, and Skem in achieving this feat.

He is currently playing for Team Adroit.

Miracle

Amer Al Barkawi is the first player to reach the 9k MMR mark way back in 2016 and the 27th player to have achieved the 10k MMR mark. He is a decorated pub player after reaching #1 MMR years ago, was invited by N0tail to join OG, and eventually winning TI17 with Team Liquid.

He is currently playing for Team Nigma alongside his fellow 10k achiever w33ha.

Natsumi-

John Anthony Vargas is the 5th Filipino Player to join the 10k MMR Club. He also competed in the SEA Games last 2019 where Team Adroit won Gold.

He is currently playing for Adroit.

GeneRaL

Victor Nigrini is a Ukrainian Professional Dota 2 Player and is the 29th Player to break the 10k MMR ceiling. He player for NaVi from 2016 to 2018.

GeneRal is currently playing for FlyToMoon.

Tims

Timothy John Randrup is the 6th Filipino Player and the 30th overall to join the 10,000 MMR Club. He is a superstar Position 4 player famous for his plays with heroes like Earth Spirit and Earthshaker.

He is currently playing for TNC Predator.

As of now, there are only 37 players who are in the 10k MMR Club. But I guess we’re going to see a lot of players achieving this feat soon as the DPC is currently facing postponement or worse cancellations due to the Covid-19 Pandemic resulting in players going to pubs.
