Predicting your victory in a match can be a good thing as it can intimidate players on the other side, thus affecting their game and resulting in your victory.
In Dota 2, there is an item called Dota Plus Victory Shout that you can use to predict your own triumph in a Dota 2 match. If you correctly predicted your victory then you’ll earn Shards and consecutive correct predictions will be recorded on your Victory Prediction Gem.
The item Dota Plus Victory Shout can only be obtained by subscribing to Dota Plus. Using this item will trigger a unique voice response from each hero.
Rewards per win are as follows:
- 1 in a row – 10 Shards
- 2 in a row – 20 Shards
- 3 in a row – 30 Shards
- 4 in a row – 40 Shards
- 5+ in a Row – 50 Shards
You can use the Shards that you’ve obtained in the Store to buy items such as Seasonal Treasures, Premium Hero Sets, Returning Hero Sets, Hero Relics, Chat Wheels, and Tools.
Take note that predictions can’t be used on low-priority games.
