How to Play Ps2 on Android

Probably one of the most played home video game consoles in the world is the Playstation 2. It debuted on March 4, 2000, in Japan and the rest was history. The PS2 is the best-selling video game console of all time and Introduced to us games such as God of War, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, Final Fantasy, and Sly Cooper.

What I loved about the console as a kid is that I can still play old Playstation 1 games on it and it was probably the reason why it has one of the longest lifespans of a video game console. And thanks to the technology that we have today, you can now play your favorite PS2 games on Android anytime, anywhere. 

Steps on how you can play PS2 Games on Android:

Download an Emulator:

First thing is to download and install Damon PS2 Emulator from Playstore. It is the fastest and easiest emulator so far. You can play more than 90% of PS2 games using this. The application is free but you can opt for Pro by paying a certain amount. Obviously, the free version has limited features compared to the pro version.

This emulator requires you to have a smartphone with high specifications, such as Snapdragon 835/845 such as Galaxy S9, Note8, and so on. 

Get PS2 Games

Needless to say, you need to get your favorite PS2 games. You can get yours at coolrom.com. They have almost all the favorite games that you need and you need to remember that these games come in big sizes so you need to free up a lot of space on your phone storage.

Get PS2 Bios

You also need to get a BIOS on the same site where you got the game for you to play your favorite game on Damon 2 Emulator.

Download RAR

The ISO files and BIOS that you will get comes in RAR files so you need to extract if first in a folder. If you don’t have an extractor on your phone then you can download RAR in Playstore.

Start Playing

The good thing about the Damon 2 Emulator is you don’t need the location of the folder where you extracted your game and BIOS. You can just use the feature ‘Scan ROM” and the console will locate the game for you. After doing all these steps, you can now play your favorite PS2 games on Android!
