ONIC Indonesia Wins Mytel International Championship Series 2

Mytel International Championship Series 2 has come to conclusion as ONIC Indonesia becomes the champion after beating EVOS Legends, 3-0, in the best-of-5 Grand Finals. ONIC Indonesia displayed their dominance in the series as they swept their opponent and didn’t give the latter a chance to get even 1 game.

It was an all Indonesian Grand Finals as ONIC Indonesia dethroned the defending Champions and the sole Filipino team, Aura PH, for contention in the semifinals, setting their final duel against EVOS Legends.

The stellar performance of players like SANZJAGO, who didn’t die in those 3 games, and Drian was the key for ONIC Indonesia in getting the championship.

Team Onic Indonesia won the $5000 prize for their stellar performance and Evos Legends got $3000 for their 2nd place win.

EVOS legends took first blood killing Thamus but ONIC ID took the lead in terms of kills, 7 to 4 in the 9-minute mark.

SANZJAGO’s Kimmy is giving EVOS Legend a hard time getting a break and staging a comeback. A team wipeout in the 16-minute mark gave ONIC ID the chance to push and finish the game.

Despite the close kill count between two teams, good positioning and getting the turtle objective thrice was the key for ONIC Indonesia in taking game number 1.

ONIC Indonesia took an early lead by taking 2 kills to none and that lead solidified when they were able to do a turtle steal in the 5-minute mark.

It was almost the same story a Game 1 as SANZJAGO’s Kimmy continued to wreak havoc having a KDA of 6/0/9. Evos Legends didn’t have much of a fightback as ONIC Indonesia breezed through them, taking game number 2 in the 14-minute mark.

EVOS Legends – Popol and Kupa, Luo Yi, Yu Zhong, Hayabusa, Valir

EVOS Legends started aggressively as they successfully stole the Blue buff in ONIC Indonesia’s side of the map but that advantage was gone in an instant as ONIC ID was able to get 4 kills vs 1 and a turtle objective afterward.

ONIC Indonesia won team fights after team fights and even extended their lead when it comes to kills, 11-1 at the 7-minute juncture.

ONIC Indonesia never looked back and didn’t give any chance for EVOS Legends to come back, winning the game behind SANZJAGO’s stellar performance in the Yi Sun-Shin in the 10-minute mark.
