Olaf is a melee damage-per-second champion who scales up in damage by building more HP and damage items. He has the potential to get champion kills very early in the game, with the help of his low-cooldown Undertow. He is a great initiator, charging with his Ragnarok and ignoring all crowd control abilities.
How to Play Olaf
- Olaf is dangerous when his HP is lower due to his passive
- You should continue to land basic attacks at low HP to utilize your lifesteal
- Poke enemies with Undertow
- Pick up your Undertow to reduce cooldown and maximize your harassment
- You can use Undertow to reveal enemies hiding in bush
- Undertow also removes fog of war
- Vicious Strikes is most effective when your HP is below 50%
- Use Vicious Strikes when attacking turrets
- Reckless Swing has a high range, allowing you to use it as a poke
- Use Ragnarok to initiate a fight
- You can also use Ragnarok to escape and disable CC’s from you
Skills
Passive / Berserker’s Rage: Olaf gains 1% attack speed per 1% of his missing health.
Skill 1 / Undertow: Throws an axe, dealing physical damage and slowing by 20% for 2 seconds. Picking up the axe reduces Undertow’s cooldown by 4.5 seconds.
Skill 2 / Vicious Strikes: Gain 50% attack speed, 16% physical vamp and increase incoming health by 0.5% per 1% missing health for 6 seconds.
Skill 3 / Reckless Swing: Dash to an enemy and deal true damage, if the enemy does not die, Olaf takes true damage too. Attacks lower the cooldown of Reckless Swing by 1 second.
Skill 4 / Ragnarok: Passive: Gain 20 Armor and Magic Resist. Active: Becomes immune to crowd conrol and gains attack damage but loses the passive effect for 6 seconds. Also gains 20% movement speed when moving toward enemy champions for 1 second upon cast.

Runes
- Conqueror – Gain stacks of Adaptive Force when hitting a champion with separate attacks or abilities. When fully stacked, deal bonus adaptive damage to champions. Stacks up to 5 times.
- Brutal – Gain 7 AD and 2% armor penetration, or 14 AP and 2% magic penetration.
- Hunter Titan – Gain 20 max health. Unique champion takedowns grant 20 max health and 4% tenacity.
- Hunter Genius – Gain 2.5 Ability Haste. Unique champion takedowns grant 2.5 Ability Haste.
