Red is the main protagonist in the first generation of Pokemon games, Pokemon Red and Pokemon Green, which were later released as Pokemon Red and Pokemon Blue in the West. Red is also the main character in the Pokemon Origins animated television series, which is based on the first generation of Pokemon games. In the same television series, Red was able to catch 150 Pokemon, the last being Mewtwo, which he caught with the help of a Mega Evolved Charizard. After catching Mewtwo, Red realized his work on his Pokemon is not done yet, and he still needs to catch Mew.
