Yasuo is a melee fighter who directs the currents themselves to dash through enemy front lines and nullify ranged threats. He has zero-cost abilities and extremely low cooldowns, making him thrive on extended teamfights and relies on his high mobility to engage and slash through his enemies.
How to Play Yasuo
- Resolve is very useful in blocking and trading damage in the early stages of the game
- The faster Yasuo moves, the faster he refills Resolve
- Poke enemies with Steel Tempest
- Use Wind Wall to protect yourself and allies from incoming enemy projectiles
- Use Sweeping Blade to chase or escape from enemies
- You can use Sweeping Blade on minions first before using it on Enemy Champions
- Sweeping Blade deals more damage on successive targets
- You can combine Last Breath with other ally champion’s skills that causes the enemy to be airborne (Ex. Malphite’s SS and Nami’s Bubble)
- Last Breath has a high range and is a very good gap closer
- Using Yasuo requires solid timing and positioning
Skills
Passive / Way of the Wanderer: Resolve: Moving builds Flow, which is tracked on Yasuo’s resource bar. At max Flow, damage from a champion or monster grants a shield that absorbs damage and lasts 2 seconds.
Intent: Yasuo’s critical strike chance is doubled, but his critical strikes deal 10% less damage.
Skill 1 / Steel Tempest: Thrusts forward, dealing physical damage. Grants a stack of Gathering Storm if the thrust damages an enemy. At 2 stacks, Steel Tempest launches a whirlwind that knock enemies Airborne.
Skill 2 / Wind Wall: Creates a 300 unit wall that blocks all enemy projectiles for 4 seconds.
Skill 3 / Sweeping Blade: Dashes through target enemy, dealing magic damage. Each cast increases the next dash’s base damage by 25% u to 50%. Cannot be recast on the same enemy for 8 seconds. If Steel Tempest is tapped during this dash, it will strike as a cricle.
Skill 4 / Last Breath: Blinks to an Airborne enemy champion, dealing physical damage and holding all enemies in the area in the air for an additional 1.3 seconds. Grants maximum Flow but resets all stacks of Gathering Storm. For the next 15 seconds, critical strikes gain 30% Armor Penetration.

Runes
- Conqueror – Gain stacks of Adaptive Force when hitting a champion with separate attacks or abilities. Stacks up to 5 times. When fully stacked, deal bonus adaptive damage to champions.
- Brutal – Gain 7 AD and 2% Armor Penetration or 14 AP and 2% magic Penetration.
- Bone Plating – After taking damage from a champion, the next 3 champion abilities or attacks against you within 1.5 seconds deal 30-60 less damage.
- Sweet Tooth – Increases Honeyfruit healing by 25%. Whenever you or a nearby ally eats a Honeyfruit gain 20 gold.
