Xayah Wild Rift Guide, Build and Strategy

Xayah is a marksman / mage hero who is very versatile and has a lot of outplay potential. She has good area of control ability, pushing abilities and can kite enemies that makes her a force to be reckoned with in the bot lane. She gets additional ability effects when played with her partner Rakan.

How to Play Xayah

• Always be aware of your Feather’s location
• Poke enemies in your lane with Double Daggers
• Double Daggers can pass through walls
• Make sure to hit enemies with all of the Feathers on the ground using Recall
• Xayah has a lot of wave clear potential because of her Double Daggers and Recall
• Recall can be combined with Flash to position yourself to make feathers hit enemies
• Her Ultimate, Featherstorm, can be used to dodge enemy attacks and skills
• You can also use Flash while channeling your Ultimate, Featherstorm
• Xayah is a squishy hero so be aware of your position in teamfights all the time
• Skill Combo: 1st Skill > 2nd Skill > 4th Skill > 3rd Skill

Skills

Passive / Clean Cuts: After using an ability, Xayah’s next 3 attacks will hit all enemies along their path and drop feathers that she can recall. Xayah can store up to 5 feathers at a time.

Lovers Leap: Xayah and Rakan can join each other’s recall. Both will reach the Summoning Platform when the initiator’s recall ends.

Skill 1 / Double Daggers: Throws two daggers dealing physical damage each and leaving two feathers. Target hits after the first take 50% damage.

Skill 2 / Deadly Plumage: Creates a storm of blades for 4 seconds that grants 35% attack speed and causes attacks to deal 20% more damage. If Deadly Plumage strikes an enemy champion, she gains 25% movement speed for 2 seconds.

If Rakan is nearby he will also gain the effects of this skill.

Skill 3 / Bladecaller: Calls back all feathers, dealing physical damage to enemies they pass through. Hitting an enemy with 3 feathers roots them for 1.25 seconds. Minion takes 50% damage from Bladecaller.

Skill 4 / Featherstorm: Xayah leaps into the air, becoming untargetable and throwing out a fan of daggers which deal physical damage and leave behind a line of feathers. She can move while in the air.

Runes

• Conqueror – Gain stacks of Adaptive Force when hitting a champion with separate attacks or abilities. When fully stacked, it deals adaptive damage to champions. Stacks up to 5 times.
• Champion – Gain 10% damage against champions. Lose 5% each time you die until bonus disappears.
• Loyalty – You gain 2 AR and 5 MR. Your closest ally champion gains 5 AR and 2 MR.
• Sweet Tooth – Increases Honeyfruit healing by 25%. Each fruit also provides 20 gold.
