Wukong Wild Rift Guide, Build and Strategy

Wukong is an elusive melee damage dealer who can easily glose gap with his enemies. His abilities allow him to dart around combat or jump into teamfights and take all enemies at once.

How to Play Wukong

• Close the gap with your opponents by using Warrior Trickster and Nimbus Strike
• Use Nimbus Strike to land your Golden Staff quickly
• Golden Staff can be used on turrets
• You can either use Warrior Trickster to initiate or as an escaping tool
• Use Warrior Trickster inside your bush to confuse enemies
• Warrior Trickster can also be used to farm minions and jungle creeps
• Nimbus Strike can pass through walls
• Wukong is a great ganker with the helps of his kit
• Your Clone will duplicate your Ultimate too together with its knocking effect
• You can use Warrior Trickster while using Ultimate and the clone will still spin
• You can recast your Ultimate again once within 8 seconds before it goes into long cooldown
• Skill Combo: 2nd Skill > 3rd Skill > 1st Skill > 4th Skill

Skills

Passive / Crushing Blows: Wukong and his clones’ attacks and abilities apply Crushing Blows to the target for 5 seconds. For each stack, Wukong and his clones deal 3% increased damage to the target.

Skill 1 / Golden Staff: Passive: Gains 150 range for his next attack after casting an ability for 5 seconds. Active: Empowers his next attack to deal an additional physical damage and heal Wukong.

Skill 2 / Warrior Trickster: Becomes invisible for 1 second, leaving behind a clone for 3 seconds that attacks nearby enemies for 20% damage. The clone will mimic Wukong’s Golden Staff and Cyclone.

Skill 3 / Nimbus Strike: Dashes to a target while sending clones to 2 additional targets, dealing physical damage. The clones strike the original target if there are no additional targets for 155a damage. Gain 25% attack speed for 4 seconds after dashing.

Skill 4 / Cyclone: Extends his staff and spins to gain 30% movement speed, dealing physical damage plus 7% of enemies’ max health over 2 seconds. Enemies that are hit for the first time are knocked up. Cyclone can be recast once within 8 seconds.

Runes

• Conqueror – Gain stacks of Adaptive Force when hitting a champion with separate attacks or abilities. When fully stacked, deal bonus adaptive damage to champions. Stacks up to 5 times.
• Brutal – Gain 7 AD and 2% armor penetration or 14 AP and 2% magic penetration.
• Hunter Titan – Gain 20 max health. Unique champion takedowns grant 20 max health and 4% tenacity.
• Mastermind – Deal 10% bonus true damage to epic monsters and turrets. Earn an extra 100 gold and 500 XP upon taking or assisting in taking these objectives.
