Vayne is ranged damage-per-second assassin who is big on mobility and surprise. She can pin down single targets and severely weakening them before they can retaliate.
How to Play Vayne
- Night Hunter makes it impossible for enemies to escape from you
- Tumble can be used to chase or escape from enemies
- You can also use Tumble to dodge enemies
- Combine Tumble with the third hit from Silver Bolts to maximize damage
- Tumble doesn’t go on cooldown until you actually attack enemies
- Tumble cannot pass through walls
- Besides pinning targets to the wall, Condemn can also be used to widen the gap between you and the enemy for the main purpose of escaping
- Condemn can also pin targets on turrets, inhibitor, Nexus or other player-made terrain
- Vayne is very squishy so be mindful of when to enter teamfights
- Tumble combined with Final Hour can help you escape

Skills
Passive / Night Hunter: Gain 15 movement speed when moving towards enemy champions. Final Hour: Gains 90 movement speed instead.
Skill 1 / Tumble: Dashes forward and empowers her next attack to deal an additional physical damage.
Skill 2 / Silver Bolts: Passive: Every third consecutive attack or ability on the same target deals additional true damage equal to 3% of the enemy’s maximum health. Active: Gains 40% attack speed for the next 3 attacks within 5 seconds and heals for 60% of the damage Silver Bolts dealt.
Skill 3 / Condemn: Fires a bolt that deals physical damage and knocks back. If enemies are knocked into a wall, they take an additional damage and are stunned for 1.5 seconds.
Skill 4 / Final Hour: Gain attack damage and strengthens Night Hunter and Tumble for 8 seconds. When an enemy champion damaged by Vayne dies within 3 seconds. Final Hour’s duration is extended by 4 seconds, up to an additional 8 seconds.

Runes
- Conqueror – Gain stacks of Adaptive Force when hitting a champion with separate attacks or abilities. When fully stacked, deal bonus adaptive damage to champions. Stacks up to 5 times.
- Gathering Storm – Every 3 minutes, gain increasing Adaptive AD or AP.
- Loyalty – You gain 2 AR and 5 MR. Your closest ally champion gains 5 AR and 2 MR.
- Pack Hunter – While near ally champions, gain 2% movement speed. For each unique ally you participate in a takedown with, you gain 50 gold and the ally gain 50 gold.
