Melissa Mobile Legends Build – Beginner’s Guide

Melissa is a marksman hero who specializes in reap and dealing high DPS. With the help of her beloved dolls, Melissa can easily melt enemies from an unreachable spot.

Disclaimer: I’m just a casual gamer and not a pro. I just want to share with you things that works very well for me when playing this hero.

Skills

Passive / Doll Buster: Melissa deals 150% damage to minions and summoned units.

Skill 1 / Falling: Melissa will dash to a designated location and will have increased attack speed for 3 seconds. Cooldown is reduced by 1.2 seconds each time Melissa damages the enemy by attacking Muddles.

Skill 2 / Eyes on You: Muddle deals physical damage on the first hit and links nearby enemies for up to 6 seconds. Linked enemies will be slowed by 60% that decays over 1.5 seconds and can break the link by moving out of the range. Muddles will return to Melissa early when she’s too far away. When Muddles is present, you can tap the attack Minion button to directly attack Muddles, though it cannot trigger the multi-hit damage.

Skill 3 / Go Away!: Creates a shield that prevents enemies from coming near here. The field will also interrupt the enemy movement skills unless they’re immune to control effects. The field will disappear early if Melissa leaves the field. Passive: When the skill is ready, Cuddles will appear and grant Melissa extra physical and magic defense.

2ND SKILL > 1ST SKILL > 3RD SKILL (ULTIMATE)

Best Item Builds for Melissa

Berserker’s Fury, Swift Boots, Scarlet Phantom, Haas’s Claws, Malefic Roar, Immortality

• You can add Demon Hunter Sword and Blade of Despair in this build

Emblem for Melissa

• Fatal – +1.2% Crit Chance/Level
• Doom – +4.5% Crit Damage/Level
• Weakness Finder – Basic attack has a 20% chance of reducing target’s movement speed by 90% and attack speed by 50%. This effect has 2 second cooldown. (Not effective for melee heroes)

Spells for Melissa

• Inspire – Works well with Melissa as she can deal a lot of DPS while inside her field
• Flicker – Works well in many situations
• Purify – Use this if the enemy has a lot of crowd control abilities

Other Tips

• Melissa can clear minion waves faster because of her passive
• You can use 1st skill to chase or escape from enemies
• 1st skill can be used to dash through walls
• You can also use 1st skill to adjust the positions of your 2nd and 3rd skill
• Use 2nd skill to slow down enemy heroes
• If the enemy is out of range, you can attack the doll (2nd skill) to deal damage to linked enemies
• 2nd skill’s link effect doesn’t work on minions
• Use 2nd skill to poke enemies
• You can use 2nd skill to reveal enemies hiding on grass
• Use 3rd skill to protect yourself from enemies
• Take note that if Melissa leaves the field (3rd skill), it will disappear
