If you’re looking for an open-world role-playing game for android with sick animation graphics, enjoyable quests, out-of-this-world story and cutscenes, cute mounts, and a wide variety of amazing characters, then Light of Thel: Glory of Cepheus is just the game for you.
One area of the game that is greatly noticeable is the graphics. It is very commendable and you have to play it yourself to see it. I’m currently level 30 as of writing. In my opinion, this game is a combination of Ragnarok M: Eternal Love (Gameplay-wise) and Dragon Nest (Graphics wise plus the cutscenes).

Characters
Omni Warrior
It is a melee-type class that focuses primarily on defense and short-range attacks.
Elven Archer
A damage-per-second type long-range attacker that uses a bow as the main weapon.
Rune Mage
A class the focuses on area-of-effect magic damage.
Holy Priest
A support type class that is responsible for healing and supporting allies.
Shadow Assasin
A melee class that deals burst damage and stealth to kill its enemy.
Camera Angle
3D Mode
You can adjust all parameters of the camera
2.5D Mode
The camera angle is fixed. You can adjust the camera distance.
Controls
Just like any other game, you need to drag the virtual joystick to the left to move and click the attack button to defeat enemies. You can also dodge enemy bosses’ skills. Skills can also be used and can be found beside the normal attack button. You can also choose your target by dragging the skill towards it. There’s also an option to cancel it by dragging it again.
Quest
Quests are simple. It can be viewed on the left side of the screen and you just need to tap it and you will be redirected automatically to the quest using an auto path. You can also access the map on the right side of the screen.
Leveling and Experience System
You can get rewards such as silver and food as you level up. As of writing, the current level cap is 40. Characters whose level is lower than the server level will receive exp and talent exp for participating in activities.
If you reached the level cap and max experience, all your exp will be converted to talent exp.
Backpack
To access your backpack, just click the bag icon on the right side of the screen. Equips, Stones, Warehouse, and Character Function can be seen there. Your bag has 100 slots and displays all of your weapons, materials quest items and, many more.
Soulstone
These are stones that can be put into your equipment that will increase your stats and add resonance attributes. You can acquire these by defeating an enemy.
You just need to tap the acquired soulstone to use it and click Inlay to the chosen item. You can only inlay 3 Soul Stones into each piece of equipment.
You can obtain rare, epic, legendary, and mythic SoulStones.
3 Types of Soulstones
- Morale – Can be inlayed in Weapons, Bracelet, Rings, etc.
- Guard – Can be inlayed in Shoulders, Body Legs, Gear equipment, etc.
- Energy – Can be inlayed in headgear, necklaces, earrings, etc.
Sacred Stone – Unlockable at level 50.
Character Function
This is unlocked at level 4. This is where you can check the summary, biography, and stats of your characters. You can also view here how much experience you need to level up.
Warehouse
The warehouse is the place where you can store your excess items. At the start, you’ll have 2 warehouses but you have the option of having 10 by just paying 1,000,000 for each extra. Each warehouse has 25 slots. Later on in the game, you’ll have the option to name and use silver to purchase more warehouses.
Skills
You can access your skills menu by clicking the more button on the right side of the screen. You get skill points by leveling up and completing quests, and you can use those skill points to upgrade your skills.
Some weapons have weapon skills and players can also spend money to get more skill plans.
Talent
Talents give you additional attributes and skills. Each character can have 2 talents but can only use one at a time every battle.
- You need Talent EXP to upgrade talents
- This exp can be obtained from story quests, side quests, etc.
- You can reset talents anytime without costs
- You can spend money to add talent plans
- Each talent has multiple talent pages and can be unlocked every time you reach a certain level
Life Skills
Can be unlocked at level 29. There are two types of life skills: Life and Leisure. These are used for you to get more advanced items.

- Collecting – obtain equipment forge materials
- Foraging – obtain potions
- Mining – obtain equipment forge materials
- Extracting – obtain accessory forge materials
- Fishing – obtain fish
Pet System
You can get pets by acquiring eggs and waiting for them to be hatched. There are three types of pets: Battle Pets, Mount and Minis.
Battle Pets
Gives their owners extra attributes and once deployed, you can use their talent skills to aid you in battle.
Mounts
You can ride mounts to increase your movement speed.
Minis
Can go out on quests to win random items. Unlockable at level 30
You can also set a pet free, and in return, you’ll get sprite shards. After level 70, they can enable personality and will add different effects to your characters.
Costume
Costumes can be changed by going to the wardrobe. It is not for aesthetics only because it also adds attributes to your character.
Mercenaries
You can get mercenaries to aid you in battle. These mercenaries gain levels as your character levels up. You can recruit a free mercenary every 24 hours.
- Mercenaries can be ranked from 1 to 5 stars
- They have 4 types of skills: Soul, Talent, Basic and Passive
- Telepathy allows mercenaries to give attribute bonuses to your characters
Strengthening your weapons
Blessings
You can bless your specific equipment slots to obtain attributes bonuses. You need blessing stones and silver to bless things.
Note: Blessings target specific equipment slots, so it doesn’t matter if you switch equipment.
Synthesize
Create powerful items using rare materials. Unlockable at level 28.
Guild
To create a guild, you need to spend diamonds and crystals.
Benefits of joining a guild:
- You can participate in guild quests, feasts, events, etc.
- Explore with your friends <3
Arena / PVP
You can challenge a player by going into the arena. Each battle is limited to only 2 minutes. If the times run out, the challenger loses. Every time a challenger wins, the opponent selection will refresh automatically. Each victory will earn you 20 honor while losing will still earn you 10.
Leap-frog system
If a lower-ranked player challenged and won over a high-ranked player, their rankings will be switched. But if a high-ranked player challenged a low-ranking one, rankings will not be affected but they can still get rewards.
Dungeon Raids
You can also team up with other players to do dungeon raids. Challenge powerful monsters together with your friends to obtain equipment, stones, and many more!
- Level limit: 20
- Times: Unlimited
Soulstar Cube
You can do this challenge to get tons of Soul Stones. There are 7 types of cubes and each one has 6 stages that you can challenge. Each challenge has a time limit and if it runs out, you fail. You can do this solo or with a party.
- Level limit: 18
- Times: 3
Seal Fracture
You can get Fracture quests at the NPC Area and get great wards.
- Level Limit: 20
- Times: Unlimited
- Attempts: 20
