How to Change Name in Valorant

Changing your in-game Name in Valorant has the same process with League of Legends, League of Legends Wild: Rift and Legends of Runeterra.

To change your name, you need to change your Riot ID. Take note that your Riot ID is different from your username that you are using to login into the client, while the tagline is the combination of numbers that you can see in beside Riot ID. (Example: Eggsy #2966)

To view your current Name and ID, Login to Valorant and navigate at the top of the main menu. From there, you can see your Riot ID and Tagline.

Go to account.riotgames.com and login to your Riot Account

Login to your Riot account (Same login you use when you login to your Valorant Client). You will see your account details and the next thing to do is click the Riot ID menu.

You can now change your Riot ID and create a new tagline that you want. You can also randomize the latter if you want to. After deciding your new name, click submit then your Riot ID will now be changed.

After that, you can now go to your Valorant Client and check if your new Riot ID has been implemented.

Take note that you can only change your Riot ID every 30 days so you need to be sure of the name that you will be choosing.
