Graves Wild Rift Guide, Build and Strategy

Graves is a ranged physical damage-per-second champion who is a great jungle and good at kiting enemies. He can burst down enemy champions easily with End of the Line and Collateral Damage.

How to Play Graves

• Be aware of Graves’ reloading time so you can maximize trading damage with the enemy
• Use End of the Line on walls while jungling to to deal damage instantly
• You can also use End of the Line and Smoke Screen to clear minion waves faster
• Smokescreen can be used to set up a kill or escape
• Use Quickdraw to chase or escape from enemies
• Quickdraw can pass through walls
• Using Quickdraw will stack True Grit that will grant you armor
• Hitting enemies with your bullets reduces the cooldown of Quickdraw
• Collateral Damage can be used to secure kills
• You can also use Collateral Damage to dash through thin walls

Skills

Passive / New Destiny: Graves’ shotgun has some unique properties.

Double Barrel: Graves must reload when he runs out of ammo. Attack speed reduces reload time slightly, but reduces time between attacks dramatically.

12 Gauge: Attacks fire 4 bullets. Units hit take physical damage +24% for additional bullets. Critical strikes fires 6 bullets and increase each bullet’s damage by 40%. Structures only take 75% damage.

Buckshot: Bullets cannot pass through enemy units. Non-champions stuck by multiple bullets are knocked back slightly.

Skill 1 / End of the Line: Fires a powder round that deals physical damage and then detonates after 1.5 seconds to deal an additional physical damage. Detonates in 0.25 seconds if the round hits terrain.

Skill 2 / Smoke Screen: Throws a canister that creates a cloud of smoke for 4 seconds. Enemies within the smoke cannot see outside of it. Enemies caught in the initial impact takes magic damage and are slowed by 50% for 0.5 seconds.

Skill 3 / Quickdraw: Dashes in a direction, reloading one shell and granting True Grit for 4 seconds. True Grit grants armor (stacks 8 times) and refreshes when damaging non-minions. Dashing towards an enemy champions grant 2 stacks of True Grit. Each bullet hit reduces Quickdraw’s cooldown by 0.5 seconds.

Skill 4 / Collateral Damage: Fires an explosive shell that deals physical damage and knocks Graves back from recoil. The shell explodes upon hitting an enemy champion or reaching the end of its range, dealing physical damage in a cone.

Runes

• Phase Rush – Hitting a champion with 3 separate attacks or abilities in 4 seconds grant a large burst of movement speed and slow resistance.
• Brutal – Gain 7 AD and 2% armor penetration, or 14 AP and 2% magic penetration.
• Hunter Titan – Gain 20 max health. Unique Champion takedowns grant 20 max health and 4% tenacity.
• Mastermind – Deal 10% bonus true damage to epic monsters and 10% bonus damage to turrets. Earn an extra 120 gold upon taking or assisting in taking these objectives.

• Conqueror – Gain stacks of adaptive damage when hitting a champion with separate attacks or abilities. When fully stacked, deal bonus adaptive damage to champions. Stacks up to 5 times.
• Champion – Gain 8% damage against champions. Lose 4% each time you die until the bonus disappears.
• Hunter Titan – Gain 20 max health. Unique champion takedown grants 20 max health and 4% tenacity.
• Sweet Tooth – Increases Honeyfruit healing by 25%. Whenever you or a nearby ally eats a Honeyfruit, you gain 20 gold.
