Gatotkaca Mobile Legends Build – Beginner’s Guide

Gatotkaca is a tank hero who can absorb and tank a lot of physical damage. He can also be your main magic dealer as he can burst down squishy heroes with his skills and with the right items. Gatotkaca is very useful in teamfights as he has a wide array of crowd control abilities; slow, taunt and knock up.

Disclaimer: I’m just a casual gamer and not a pro. I just want to share with you things that works very well for me when playing this hero.

Skills

Passive / Steel Bones: Gatotkaca converts 2% of his HP lost into physical defense, capped at 200. For each 300 damage he takes, he gains 5 rage capped at 100. Upon reaching 25 rage, his next basic attack will be enhanced, consuming all the rage, dealing extra magic damage and restoring HP. the damage scale with his Rage, Level and Attack.

Skill 1 / Blast Iron First: Gatotkaca shatters the ground in front of him, dealing magic damage. It also deals magic damage per second to enemies inside the skill area and slows them by 40%.

Skill 2 / Unbreakable: Gatotkaca charges for a short period, then dashes in a designated direction, dealing magic damage on the path taunting enemies, forcing them to attack him for 1.5 seconds. The distance of its dash depends on the charge duration.

Skill 3 / Avatar of the Guardian: Gatotkaca jumps in a designated area, knocking up nearby enemies in the air for 1 second and dealing magic damage. Enemies near the center will be knocked up for a longer duration. Enemies on the fringes will be pulled to the center.

• Agility – +2% Movement SPD/Level
• Observation – +2 Magical PEN/Level
• Mystery Shop – Reduce the gold cost of gears to 90%.

Tank

• Firmness – +4 Physical Defense/Level
• Fortress – +2.5%/+5%/+8% Physical Defense
• Tenacity – Increase physical and magical defense by 35 points when health is less than 40%.

Spell for Gatotkaca

• Flicker – Additional mobility and useful in many situations
• Vengeance – This will work well with Gatotkaca’s tankiness and 2nd skill
• Execute – Gatotkaca can also deal high burst damage so Execute will also be a good option

Other Tips

• Gatotkaca must always be in the frontlines as he can tank and absorb a lot of incoming damage with the help of his passive
• Gatotkaca is not only tank, but he can also be one of your main sources of damage when built with magic items
• Use his 1st skill to poke enemies and clear waves faster as this is Gatotkaca’s main source of damage. It is also good in teamfights as it is an AoE skill
• Gatotkaca’s 2nd skill is one of his AoE crowd control. You can use them to lock and chase enemies and at the same time protect teammates
• Try to fully charge his 2nd skill to prolong the distance of the dash and the duration of the taunt
• You can also use his 2nd skill to dash trough walls
• Use Gatotkaca’s Ultimate to initiate and setup a perfect teamfight. Enemies near the center will be knocked up for a longer duration
• Map awareness is very crucial to use his Ultimate effectively
• Gatotkaca’s Ultimate can also be used for escaping
• Skill Combo: 2nd Skill > 1st Skill
• or 3rd Skill (Ultimate) > 2nd Skill > 1st Skill
