Legendary Pokemon in Fire Red and Their Locations
Articuno
Bottom of Seafoam Islands and can be accessed after the rock-moving puzzle using Surf and Strength.
Zapdos
End of Power Plant near the exit.
Moltres
At Mt. Ember on One Island and can be accessed after the boulder puzzle using Strength.
Lugia
Can be found at Sevii Island at Navel Rock. You will be needing a Mystic Ticket to get to this location. Lugia is Level 70.
Ho-Oh
Can also be found at Sevii Island at Navel Rock and you will also be needing a mystic ticket to get to this location. Ho-Oh is level 70.
Deoxys (Attack Form)
Deoxys (Attack Form) can be found at the last Sevii Island at Birth Island and you will be needing an Aurora Ticket to get to this place. You will face Deoxys (Level 30) after completing a puzzle.
Suicune, Raikou, and Entei
These three legendary Pokemon can only be found while roaming the grass. You can only encounter one in the game and it depends on which starter you picked.
- Suicune – Charmander
- Raikou – Squirtile
- Entei – Bulbasaur
To encounter them, you must drive Team Rocket out of Sevii Islands.
Other Rare Pokemon in Fire Red
Besides these legendary Pokemon, there are also other Rare Pokemon that you can find in Fire Red. These are:
- Pikachu
- Snorlax
- Lapras
Pikachu
Pikachu can only be found in the Viridian Forest or in the Powerplant.
Snorlax
Snorlax can be found on Route 16. You can wake it up using a Poke Flute and engage it in battle.
Lapras
Lapras can be found on the 7th floor of Silph Company. An employee there will give you a level 15 Lapras as a gift.
