Just like most games, Axie Infinity also has a wide array of buffs and debuffs making their PvE system much exciting. These buffs and debuffs are attributes in battle that can improve or weaken the performance of the Axies.
Buffs strengthen your Axies while Debuffs do otherwise. These buffs can be applied by use of different cards available in Axie Infinity. In PVP, these buffs can be seen on top of your Axie.
The following are the available buffs and debbufs in Axie Infinity: Attack Up, Morale Up, Speed Up, Aroma, Attack Down, Chill, Fear, Fragile, Jinx, Lethal, Morale Down, Poison, Sleep, Speed Down, Stench, Stun.
Some buffs are permanent, fades after couple of turns and some can be stacked.
Buffs
- Speed Plus – Increases Axies Speed by 20%. For a designated time. Can stack.
- Morale Up – Increases Axies Morale by 20% . For a designated time. Can stack.
- Attack Up – Increases Axies Attack by 20% . Stays until next attack. Can stack.
Debuffs
- Aroma – Axie will draw all incoming attacks. For a designated time.
- Attack Down Decreases Axies attack by 20%. Stays until next attack. Can Stack.
- Chill – Axie cannot enter last stand. For a designated time.
- Fear – Axie cannot attack. For a designated time.
- Fragile – Shield takes 200% damage. For a designated time.
- Jinx – Axie cannot score critical hits. For a designated time.
- Lethal – Next hit on this Axie is always a critical strike. Stays until attacked.
- Morale Down – Decreases Axies morale by 20%. For a designated time. Can Stack.
- Poison – Axie loses 3hp each turn taken (by either team). Can stack. Stays until its removed.
- Sleep – Axie cannot defend next time it is hit. Stays until Axie tries to attack.
- Speed Down – Decreases Axies speed by 20%. For a designated time. Can Stack.
- Stench – Axie is ignored when there are 2 or more targets. For a designated time.
