Brody Mobile Legends Build – Beginner’s Guide

Brody, the Lone Star, is a marksman that specializes in long range burst damage and finishing off low HP targets. He can really be troublesome in the early stages of the game because of poking capabilities using his 1st skill.

Disclaimer: I’m just a casual gamer and not a pro. I just want to share with you things that works very well for me when playing this hero.

Skills

Passive / Abyss Corrosion: Brody is able to move while charging his basic attacks at the cost of having longer basic attack animation and attack speed. Each attack deals physical damage, increases his movement speed which by 30% that decays after 1.2 seconds. Basic attacks will also inflict Abyss Mark up to 4 stacks. Each stack increases Brody’s damage to the target by 10% and movement speed by 5%.

Skill 1 / Abyss Impact: Brody shoots a shock wave in the designated direction, dealing physical damage, slow and inflicting 1 stack of Abyss Mark. For each enemy hits, it deals extra damage, slow and an additional stack of Abyss Mark.

Skill 2 / Corrosive Strike: Brody dashes to an enemy, dealing physical damage, stunning for 1.2 seconds and inflicting 1 stack of Abyss mark. Upon hitting, he is able to move again in the movement direction, gaining 45% movement speed that decays after 1.2 seconds.

Skill 3 / Torn-Apart Memory: Brody locks on target within 8 yards, dealing physical damage to them. If the target has an Abyss Mark, it will reset, dealing physical damage plus 8% of the target’s lost HP for each stack it has.

1ST SKILL > 3RD SKILL (ULTIMATE) > 2ND SKILL

Ice Hunter’s Warrior Boots, War Axe, Bloodlust Axe, Brute Force Breastplate, Malefic Roar, Athena’s Shield

Marksman

• Fatal – +1.20% Crit. Chance/Level
• Doom – +4.50% Crit. Damage/Level
• Electro Flash – Using Basic Attacks raises hero’s Movement SPD by 40% for 1.5s and grants HP equal to 30% of hero’s Physical ATK. 10s CD.

Spell for Brody

• Flicker – For initiation and escaping
• Purify – Since Brody is very squishy, he is vulnerable to crowd control skills
• Retribution – For fast farming

Other Tips

• Brody’s Abyss Mark works on minions and jungle monsters too
• Take note that casting a skill will cancel Brody’s basic attack animation
• He deals a lot of damage to turrets
• His 1st skill is good for poking in the early stages of the game. Try to poke enemies through minions for additional damage and you can max stack your Abyss Mark faster by doing so
• Brody’s 2nd skill needs a target for you to cast it
• You can use his 2nd skill to initiate or at the same time position yourself well during teamfights
• It is advisable to use your 3rd skill (Ultimate) if your target has 4 stacks of Abyss Mark
• It is also much better to use your ultimate to low HP heroes
• Skill Combo: 1st Skill > 2nd Skill > 3rd Skill (Ultimate)
• or 2nd Skill > 1st Skill > 3rd Skill (Ultimate)
