Blacklist International defeats Execration, 4-3, to win the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League Philippines Season 7 Championship. After winning back to back runner-ups last season 4 and 5, VeeWise (OhMyV33nus and Wise) finally captured the elusive crown and also cementing their status as one of the best duo in the league.
Blacklist International is in tip top shape throughout the season, only losing 1 game in the regular season and not losing a series in the road to the Grand Finals.
Despite being down 3-1 early in their matchup with Execration, they were able to bounce back and won 3 straight games to win the title.
It wasn’t an easy road for their opponents, Execration, as they crawled their way from the lower bracket, even facing elimination after being down 0-2 to the M2 World Champions Bren Esports but eventually pulling off the reverse sweep. They carried that momentum in the lower bracket finals, sweeping the 2 time champions Aura PH, 3-0, to propel themselves in the Grand Finals.
Both teams will be representing the Philippines in the upcoming MSC (Mobile Legends South East Asia Cup) that will happen this June 7 to 13, 2021.
