Alistar is a support / tank champion that has good crowd control abilities. He is an easy to learn champion that provides that provides really good assistance to his team. He is disruptive, very tough and can tank a lot of damage especially when his Ultimate is activated.
How to Play Alistar
- Pulverize when used wisely can disable the entire enemy team
- Use Headbutt to throw enemies under your turret or near your allies
- You can use Pulverize, then position yourself at the back of the enemy champion then use Headbutt and throw the enemy on your team
- Headbutt can also be used as an escape tool
- Trample can be used to clear minion waves faster
- Use Unbreakable Will when you are cornered and CC’d
- Alistar should always protect his core teammate champion
- Alistar should always be on the frontlines absorbing almost all the damage
- Taking more damage will proc your passive more often, healing you and your teammates
- Skill Combo: 2nd Skill > 1st Skill
- or Flash > 1st Skill
Skills
Passive / Triumphant Roar: When Alistar takes damage, he heals himself and nearby allied champions. Knocking up or stunning champions with Alistar’s abilities reduces the cooldown by 8 seconds.
Skill 1 / Pulverize: Deals magic damage to nearby enemies and knocks them up for 1 second.
Skill 2 / Headbutt: Dashes toward an enemy, dealing magic damage and knocking them back.
Skill 3 / Trample: Deals magic damage to nearby enemies over 5 seconds. If Trample damages an enemy champion 5 times, Alistar’s next attack within 5 seconds is empowered to deal an additional magic damage and stuns for 1 second.
Skill 4 / Unbreakable Will: Removes crowd control effects and gain 55% damage reduction for 7 seconds.

Runes
- Aftershock – After immobilizing an enemy champion, gain defenses and later deal a burst of magic damage around you.
- Weakness – Impairing the movement of enemy champions make them take 5% more damage in the following 5 seconds.
- Loyalty – You gain 2 AR and 5 MR. Your closest ally champion gains 5 AR and 2 MR.
- Pack Hunter – While near ally champions, gain 2% movement speed. For each unique ally you participate in takedown with, you gain 50 gold and the ally gains 50 gold.
