Lucian Wild Rift Guide, Build and Strategy

Lucian is a high mobility marksman who wields powerful weapons. He is a fast, aggressive and a flexible champion, making him a formidable opponent in both solo or duo lanes. He specializes in a hit-and-run gameplay with the use of his passive and active skills.

How to Play Lucian

• Do basic attacks in between use of skills
• Poke enemies with Piercing Light
• Marking enemies first with Ardent Blaze is a good start into a fight
• Check enemies hiding on bush with Ardent Blaze
• Relentless Pursuit can pass through some walls
• Cooldown of Relentless Pursuit is reduced by 1 second whenever Lucian hits an enemy with Lightslinger (2 seconds for champions)
• Lucian may use Relentless Pursuit while using The Culling.
• You can recast Relentless Pursuit to cancel it,
• Minion takes 200% damage from The Culling.
• You can also use The Culling to clear minion waves faster

Skills

Passive / Lightslinger: After using an ability, Lucian’s next attack within 3.5 seconds will fire two shots. The second shot deals physical damage, increased to 100% against minions. The second shot is a separate attack that applies on-hit effects and can critical strike.

Skill 1 / Piercing Light: Shoots a bolt of piercing light through an enemy unit, damaging enemies in a line for physical damage.

Skill 2 / Ardent Blaze: Fires a shot that explodes at the end of its range or on the first enemy hit, dealing magic damage, briefly revealing enemies and marking them for 6 seconds. When Lucian or an ally damages a marked enemy, Lucian gains movement speed for 1 second.

Skill 3 / Relentless Pursuit: Quickly dashes a short distance.

Skill 4 / The Culling: Fires rapidly in a direction for 3 seconds. Each shot deals physical damage to the first enemy hit.

Runes

• Conqueror – Gain stacks of Adaptive Force when hitting a champion with separate attacks or abilities. When fully stacked, deal bonus adaptive damage to champions. Stacks up to 5 times.
• Champion – Gain 8% damage against champions. Lose 4% each time you die until the bonus disappears.
• Hunter Titan – Gain 20 max health. Unique champion takedowns grant 20 max health and 4% tenacity.
• Sweet Tooth – Increases Honeyfruit healing by 25%. Whenever you or a nearby ally eats a Honeyfruit gain 20 gold.
