Legend of mana switch physical copy review

After months of waiting, The remake of Legend of Mana on Nintendo Switch has finally been released. Luckily for me, I was able to secure my own physical copy of the game by ordering online. Unfortunately this is only available in the Philippines.

It was announced a month ago that the physical copy would only be available on Southeast Asia and there are no reports yet if there would be any on other regions.

I ordered mine on June 24 and it arrived on the 26th. I was surprised on how fast it is but I got no complaints about that.

Physical Copy

The cover looks amazing. It is the same as what is reported the last time and as promised, it also has freebies included.

Legend of Mana Free Music Download Nintendo Switch

Inside the physical copy is a code that you can use to download two music tracks from Legend of Mana. It also has set of instructions on how to claim it. The code can only be used once and be allowed to download two times. It also has an expiry date.

One of the reasons why I loved this game even the classic one is its soundtrack, so this freebie is good for me.

Legend of Mana Stickers

It also has free stickers of your favorite characters that you love.

After the game was announced earlier this year, I told myself that I won’t be buying this game if there would be no any physical copy. I could easily play the game on any emulators right now to be honest, but this game is a classic that I love and I want to keep a memorabilia of my own that I can treasure for a long time.

Where to buy Legend of Mana Physical Copy

If you are residing in the Philippines, you can order this game online here:

Legend of Mana Remake Features

Besides from the remastered HD graphics, the game also has new features that you’ll surely love. The 2 player mode is also retained.

  • Autosave features
  • Ability to turn off encounters
  • Music Mode
  • Preferred Music
  • Gallery Mode
  • Ring Ring Land mini game

Autosave features

You can still save manually but you don’t have to worry if you forget to as the game will automatically save itself. Reminder though that there are places that autosave feature won’t take place.

Turn off encounters

I really don’t know the reason why you would turn this off, but I think this is only for speed runners who would want to finish the game quickly. Personally I won’t be turning this on as I want to experience the nostalgic battles again.

Music mode

There is a playlist available in the settings where you can play all the favorite music that you love.

Preferred Music

You can also change according to your preference if you want to use the original version of the music or the arranged one.

Gallery Mode

There are also photos in the Gallery that you can view.

Ring Ring Land Mini Game

This mini game is only available if you already have a pet.
