Bren Esports was able to win the series, 4-2, winning the trophy and $25,000, while Omega PH Esports takes home $13,000 for being the runner up.

Bren Esports vs Omega Esports Recap

Game 1

Game 1 looked promising for Bren, as they were able to secure a KartTzy Hero, Lancelot, which has a 100% win rate for him. While Omega had Ling, setting up a duel between two best assassins in the current meta.

Bren was able to take an early lead because of a purple buff steal made by Pheww’s Selena, delaying the progress of Hadjizy’s Ling.

That trend continued for the rest of the game as Pheww’s aggression with his Selena proved to be a problem for the side of Omega as they never got a chance to stage a comeback.

Bren showed discipline and dominance, securing game number 1 behind KarlTzy’s 9-0-6 for his Lancelot before the 12 minute mark.

Game 2

Omega adjusted in game number 2, finally banning Lancelot. It turned out to be beneficial to them, as they were able take a 5-1 lead in term of kills come 4 minute mark.

It was a total turnaround from game 1, as Omega was leading all throughout the game, gaining map control and limiting KarlTzy’s output.

A solo pick off on KarlTzy gave Omega a chance to get the Lord, giving them the chance to push the inhibitor turrets and finishing game 2.

Game 3

Bren Esports wanted redemption, as they stick again with Ling as their hyper carry.

Omega tried to play aggressive in the early by invading the jungle, but it backfired, giving Bren Esports the first blood.

It was really an even match in the beginning despite Bren Esports having lead in the kill deparment.

Bren Esports regained their form, leading all throughout the match, behind the excellent performance of Ling and Barats. Omega was only limited to just only 3 kills and Bren Esports was able to secure game 3.

Game 4

Planning to repeat what they did in game 3, Bren Esports once again picked Ling and Barats to their lineup plus Pheww’s Kadita. Omega tried to counter it with the Haze special, Selena, together with Hadjizy’s YSS and Toshi’s Esmeralda.

It was a good start for Omega, as they were able to get a 3-2 lead in kills, a turtle pick off and an early tower push.

A 4 man wipeout in the 10 minute mark by Bren is all they needed to turn things around and make the game close in terms of gold.

Bren Esports, with that momentum, never looked back and was able to take the game in fashion, behind Barats performance in the frontlines.

Game 5

Facing match point, Bren once again was able to pick their comfort heroes, Selena and Khufra. Omega retaliated by picking Barats, who has been a big problem for them in game 3 and 4.

Omega took advantage of their lineup and played aggressively in the early game. They were able to pick off KarlTzy who is in the middle of a purple buff skirmish, and was able to get first blood.

Omega finally found their groove, leading 6-0 in the early stages and wasn’t giving Bren any chance to fight back.

They were never really threatened and limited KarlTzy to a 0-5-0 KDA, and eventually ending the match at the 11 minute mark.

Game 6

Trying to prevent a Game 7, Bren chose the duo of Uranus and Yu Zhong to solidify their side lanes. But in return, Omega targeted KarlTzy’s hero pool by banning Lancelot, Ling and Helcurt.

It was a very passive early game until the 3 minute mark, where both teams had an exchange in kills in favor of Bren Esports, 2-1.

Bren was able to extend that lead, getting the 2nd turtle and killing 3 members of Omega Esports.

Bren’s patience paid off, wiping out Omega behind Flaptzy’s Yu Zhong at the top lane and eventually finishing the game and getting the championship.

Execration will settle for 3rd as they were able to execute a reverse sweep against Onic PH in the earlier series, defeating them with a score of 3-2. Execration will take home $7,000 while Onic PH will get $3000.
