Fate Oath

Fate Oath is an anime-style role-playing game that is available for download in Playstore.

As of writing, there are only two available character classes: Elf Knight and Dragon Slayer. I guess the reason why you’re here is that you’ve seen too many ads on Youtube regarding the game but hey, welcome to the club. I, too, got curious so I tried and downloaded it on my android device.

Experience

It was very confusing at the beginning because my character is moving by itself. Then I realized that it has auto pathing for quest and it also has auto battling. I was literally watching my character move on its own for the first 30 minutes of playing it without doing anything and I already reached level 65 without much effort.

This is my character after 30 minutes of playing

I’ve read some reviews on it being laggy and prone to crash but I think it really depends on your phone. I don’t have problems playing it and haven’t experienced any form of crashing.

Features

The game has the same gameplay and features for almost all RPGs that you can see on mobile.

  • Character Classes
  • Guild System
  • Mounts
  • Pets
  • Dungeon Raids
  • Wide variety of skills
  • Gears and Equipment
  • Marriage
  • Forging
  • Costumes
  • Soul Card
  • Mall
  • PVP / Arena
  • Daily Quests

I don’t have anything special to say for most of the features but they had me at mounts. They have many different mounts that you can choose from which is good for someone like me who’s into aesthetics.

Mount

Dodo The Chick

Snowfield Mammoth

Immortal Pan

Moon Sin Wolf

Arcane Ice Lion

Wasteland Dragon

Dragon of Doom

Crystal Nightmare (T8 – T10)

Travelling Griffin

Giant Frost Dragon

Reindeer

Giant Chaos

Golden Lion

Torque

Super Ion

Atlas

Steel Mount

Royal Elephant

After playing the game for two hours, here’s what I realized:

The game lacks depth, so far. I don’t know but it feels like it’s missing something but I can’t quite figure it out. But the good news is the game is in the development stage and its areas of concern can be fixed.

I had the impression that the game’s target audience is casual gamers because everyone can play this game with ease regardless if they have experience playing any role-playing games on mobile before.

But this is something that I can play in my free time and definitely enjoy it.
