After the hilarious meme war between Dota 2 Asian powerhouses TNC Predator and Fnatic, they finally revealed the purpose of the banter and that is to set us and hype us up for a Charity show match that will happen on April 18, 2020. This event is for a cause and donations/proceeds will go directly to the Covid-19 Solidarity Response Fund made by the World Health Organization.
It started with a meme posted by Fnatic on their Facebook Page about TNC missing out on many important succeeding tournaments after winning a Major at MDL Chengdu.
Their friendly neighborhood TNC responded with a meme regarding Fnatic having few points to qualify for TI10 and the rest is history. After the long hilarious banter, both teams simultaneously posted on their Facebook page their real intention to everyone’s delight.
The SEA show match will happen on April 18, 2020, at 5:00 PM Philippine time and will feature reverse captain’s mode. This is when captains pick the heroes they want the other team to play. Sounds exciting right? I guess we’ll get to see Techies in action for sure.
The show match will be cast in English by Xyclopz. Lupon Members like Kuya Nic and Alo will also be casting at the event.
