Yi Sun-Shin Mobile Legends Build – Beginner’s Guide

Yi Sun-Shin is a marksman hero specializing in reap and chasing. He has a unique passive, allowing him to use melee or range basic attacks, and ultimate skill that sets him apart from other marksman. His high mobility combined with his damage makes him an almost sure pick in high ranking matches.

Disclaimer: I’m just a casual gamer and not a pro. I just want to share with you things that works very well for me when playing this hero.

Skills

Passive / Heavenly Vow: Yi Sun-Shin chooses his longbow or glaive to attack according to his distance from the target. Weapon Mastey: After each weapon swap, the next two attacks will be enhanced. The first attack deals 60%-100% crit damage. The second attack deals 60%-75% crit damage and grants Yi Sun-Shin 20% movement speed for 1 second. Each enhanced attack reduces the cooldown of Traceless by 1 second. The allied base is transformed into a naval fleet. Every 180 seconds or after respawn, a Turtle Ship is spawned at the allied hero base. Yi Sun-Shin can board the Turtle Shio and gains 60% movement speed that will decay to 21% after 6 seconds and enhances Traceless.

Skill 1 / Traceless: Yi Sun-Shin slashes forward with his glaive, dealing physical damage. He becomes immune to crowd control while dashing for 1 second.

Skill 2 / Blood Floods: Without Charging: Yi Sun-Shin slashes swiftly with his glaive, dealing physical damage. Charging: Yi Sun-Shin shoots forward a powerful arrow, dealing physical damage to the target. The arrow damage scales with the charging duration, capped at 200%. This damage decays with the number of enemies hit, and can’t go below 40%. His movement speed is reduced by 20% while charging. Yi Sun-Shin gains weapon mastery right away upon casting.

Skill 3 / Mountain Shocker: Passive: Increases the damage of Heavenly Vow by 13%. Active: Yi Sun-Shin commands the naval fleet to launch 3 wavs of precise cannon to attack all enemy heroes. Each wave deals physical damage. When a target is hit by multiple waves, a maximum of 150% damage will be dealt.

• Agility – +% Movement Speed/Level
• Invasion – +2 Physical PEN/Level
• Killing Spree – Killing an enemy hero restore 15% HP and increase movement speed by 20% for 5 second.

Spells for Yi Sun-Shin

• Retribution – This spell will help Yi Sun-Shin farm faster
• Flicker – Additional mobility for Yi Sun-Shin since she is a priority target for the enemies

Other Tips

• Swapping between melee and range wisely can help you deal more damage
• Yi Sun-Shin’s melee attacks deal more damage
• Use 1st skill to chase or escape from enemies
• 1st Skill can pass through walls and terrains
• Poke enemies with 2nd Skill
• The longer you charge your 2nd skill, the more damage it will deal
• 2nd skill can be used to block crowd control abilities from the enemy side
• Use Ultimate to assist your teammates
• Use Ultimate to have vision of the enemies even if they are hiding on bush
• Let your allies do the tanking while you do some damage at the backlines
