Xin Zhao Wild Rift Guide, Build and Strategy

Xin Zhao is a fighter hero the can be played as a tank or melee DPS. He is a great initiator and can lead to start a fight using his abilities.

How to Play Xin Zhao

• His passive, Determination, provides great sustain to Xin Zhao
• Three Talon Strike resets the auto attack timer so it is better to get one basic attack before activating this
• Three Talon Strike can also be used to destroy towers easily
• Audacious Charge is your main initiation ability
• Audacious Charge also grants you attack speed that can help you clear objectives such as turrets
• Audacious Charge also lets you pass through walls as long as you target an enemy
• You can use Audacious Charge to escape by targeting a minion
• Xin Zhao is a great ganker so it is better to have good map awareness
• Use Crescent Guard on many enemies as possible
• You can use Crescent Guard to escape from enemies as long as none of them are Challenged

Skills

Passive / Determination: Every third attack deals an additional physical damage.

Skill 1 / Three Talon Strike: Empowers the next three attacks to deal an additional physical damage and reduce the cooldown of other abilities by 1 second. The third attack knocks the target up for 0.75 seconds.

Skill 2 / Wind Becomes Lightning: Slashes his spear, dealing physical damage and slowing by 50% for 1.5 seconds. Xin Zhao then thrusts his spear, dealing physical damage and slowing by 50% for 1.5 seconds. The further enemy champion or large monster hit is Challenged for 3 seconds, increasing Audacious Charge’s casts range at them.

Skill 3 / Audacious Charge: Dashes to an enemy, dealing magic damage to all nearby enemies and slowing them by 30% for 0.5 seconds, Xin Zhao gains 40% attack speed for 5 seconds. This ability’s cast range is increased against a Challenged target.

Skill 4 / Crescent Guard: Passive: The last champion hit by an attack or Audacious Charge is now challenged. Active: Sweeps his spear, dealing physical damage plus 15% of enemies maximum health and knocking all enemies back except the Challenged one. For the next 5 seconds, Xin Zhao blocks damage from enemies far away.

Runes

• Conqueror – Gain stacks of Adaptive Force when hitting a champion with separate attacks or abilities. When fully stacked, deal bonus adaptive damage to champions. Stacks up to 5 times.
• Brutal – Gain 7 AD and 2% armor penetration or 14 AP and 2% magic penetration.
• Hunter Titan – Gain 20 max health. Unique champion takedowns grant 20 max health and 4% tenacity.
• Mastermind – Deal 10% bonus damage to epic monsters and 10% bonus damage to turrets. Earn an extra 120 gold upon taking or assisting in taking these objectives.
