Veigar is mage hero who deals very high burst magic damage and scales the longer the game progresses. He can take instantly take down squishy heroes with his combos and also has good crowd control that can disrupt enemies in teamfights.
How to Play Veigar
- Focus on increasing your passive stacks so you can scale and be more powerful in the late game
- Poke enemies with Baleful Strike as it can also increase your passive stacks
- You can try dual last hitting creeps with just one Baleful Strike
- Use Baleful Strike to secure creep kills as it also increase your passive stacks
- Use Event Horizon to increase the chance of making Dark Matter hit your enemies
- You can also use Event Horizon to escape from enemies by block their pathways
- Dark Matter is very useful in the late game as it will have low cooldown because of your passive stacks
- You can also use Dark Matter to clear minion waves faster
- Use Primordial Beast to secure low HP target champions
- Veigar is very squishy and has low mobility so be wary of your positioning
- Skill Combo: 3rd Skill > 2nd Skill > 1st Skill > 4th Skill
- Or if possible try last hitting enemy champions with Baleful Strike so it can give you 2 more passive stacks

Passive / Phenomenal Evil Power: Hitting an enemy champion with a spell grants Veigar 1 stack of Phenomenal Evil. Killing minions or monsters with a spell grants Veigar 1 stack of Phenomenal Evil. Champion takedowns grant Veigar 5 stacks of Phenomenal Evil. Each stack of Phenomenal Evil grants 1 Ability Power.
Skill 1 / Baleful Strike: Veigar unleashes a bolt of dark energy, dealing magic damage to the first two enemies hit.
Skill 2 / Dark Matter: Veigar summons dark matter from the sky, dealing magic damage. Every 50 stacks of Phenomenal Evil reduce this ability’s cooldown by 10%.
Skill 3 / Event Horizon: Veigar creates a cage that stuns enemies that pass through for 1.5 seconds. The cage lasts for 3 seconds.
Skill 4 / Primordial Beast: Veigar blasts an enemy champion with primal magic to deal magic damage to them, increased by 0-100% based on the target’s missing health. Deals max damage to enemies below 35% health.

- Electrocute – Hitting a champion with 3 separate attacks or abilities in 3 seconds deals bonus adaptive damage.
- Weakness – Impairing the movement of enemy champions makes them take 5% more damage in the following 5 seconds.
- Hunter Titan – Gain 20 max health. Unique champion takedowns grant 20 max health and 4% tenacity.
- Sweet Tooth – Increases Honeyfruit healing by 25%. Whenever you or a nearby ally eats a Honeyfruit gain 20 gold.
