Valir Mobile Legends Build – Beginner’s Guide

Valir is a mage hero specializing in dealing high DPS magic damage. He is strong in the laning stages of the game because of his excellent poking ability and can clear minion waves with ease.

Disclaimer: I’m just a casual gamer and not a pro. I just want to share with you things that works very well for me when playing this hero.

Skills

Passive / Ashing: Valir’s skills ignite his targets ablaze, every second dealing magic damage equal to a percentage of their health. Lasts 4 seconds. When blaze stacks 3 times on a target, it causes an explosion, dealing magic damage equal to 6% of target’s max HP and stunning the target for 1 second. The same target can be only be stunned by Valir’s skill once within 7 seconds.

Skill 1 / Burst Fireball: Valir casts a fireball in a designated direction. The fireball will explode upon hitting an enemy, dealing magic damage to enemies in the explosion area and slowing them by 30% for 1 second. Also ignite the ground below and cause another explosion after a short delay, dealing magic damage to enemies in the area. Valir can store up to 2 Burst Fireball charges and will gain a charge if the skill hits an enemy hero first or kills a minion or creep.

Skill 2 / Searing Torrent: Valir unleashes a torrent of flames forward, knocking enemies back to the very end of its range and dealing magic damage to them. After being enhanced by the Vengeance Flame, the Searing Torrent will generate a firewall at the very end of its range that lasts for 4 seconds, dealing magic damage to nearby enemies every second. The torrent of flames and firewall can slow enemies by 25% for 1 second.

Skill 3 / Vengeance Flame: Valir removes all CC effects from him and surrounds himself with 4 Vengeance Flames, enhancing his Burst Fireball / Searing Torrent. This enhancement increases the base damage of these skills by 30% for 9 seconds. It also increases his movement speed by 50% in 5 seconds that decays within time.

1ST SKILL > 3RD SKILL (ULTIMATE) > 2ND SKILL

Warrior Boots, Ice Queen Wand, Glowing Wand, Winter Truncheon, Genius Wand, Immortality

• You can add Demon Shoes, Necklace of Durance and Divine Glaive to this build

Emblem for Valir

Support

• Vitality – +65/+130/+200 HP
• Recovery – +5 Hybrid Regen/Level
• Avarice – Gains an extra 10 gold after dealing damage to enemy heroes (up to 1200 gold). This effect has 4 second cooldown.

Mage

• Agility – +2% Movement SPD/Level
• Observation – +2 Magical PEN/Level
• Impure Rage – Damaging enemies with skills will deal an extra damage equal to 4% of the target’s current HP as magic damage, and restore 3% of your Mana. This effect has 5 second cooldown.

Spells for Valir

• Flicker – This is very useful for Valir as he doesn’t have any dash skill.
• Flameshot – Additional burst damage for Valir and helps him secure kills.

Other Tips

• The Item Glowing Wand works perfectly with his Passive
• Valir has a strong early game so you need to maximize it by harassing the enemy
• Use 1st skill to poke enemies in the lane
• Use 1st skill and 2nd skill to clear minion waves faster
• You can use 2nd skill if enemies are chasing you
• His Ultimate can act as ‘Purify’ to help him with the crowd control abilities of the other side
• Valir is very squishy and easy to take down so be mindful of your positioning
• It is better to keep your distance from the enemy and utilize the long range of your skills
• Valir can also be used as a Support
• Skill Combo: 3rd Skill > 1st Skill > 2nd Skill > 1st Skill
