Qin
Qin is a character from the Chinese version of Subway Surfers. This character will cost 95,000 coins to unlock, with an additional 100 to give you access to the character’s Warrior costume. Once released, he will be the ninth character ported from the Chinese version of the game. Besides that, he is announced as part of the “coming soon” update for the game. Moreover, Qin bears similar attributes to another character included in the update.
Hou
Hou is the character who bears resemblance to the first character in our list named Qin. To unlock this character, you need to have 95,000 coins. You can also unlock his extra costume for three keys. Moreover, Hou is known in the Chinese version as the Gansu Surfer as he originated from the province.
New Hoverboards
As mentioned before, the upcoming update will also include a diverse collection of hoverboards. Each hoverboard comes with its own unlock requirements and attributes. Check out the types of hoverboards in the list below.
Bamboo Hoverboard
Like the two upcoming characters, the Bamboo hoverboard is part of the Chinese version of Subway Surfers. One special attribute of this hoverboard is the 30-second crash protection. Moreover, this hoverboard appeared in the official videos from SYBO. The Bamboo hoverboard will cost 40 keys and its file is already part of the current version of Subway Surfers.
Parasol Hoverboard
The Parasol hoverboard made its debut as part of Valentine’s Day update of the Chinese version. One of the distinguishing features of the Parasol is the petal trail it generates. Like the Bamboo hoverboard, the Parasol can also protect the player from crash for 30 seconds. Moreover, the Parasol costs 50,000 coins to unlock after it goes live on January 7, 2021.
Flying Horse
The Flying Horse hoverboard, like the Bamboo and the Parasol hoverboards, can protect the player from crashes for 30 seconds. What separates the Flying Horse from the two hoverboards is the unlock price. Specifically, you only need to have 100 coins to unlock it, which is cheaper than most hoverboards in the game.
Rumors have swirled around that Subway Surfers will be getting a huge update in January 2021. Given that the update will kick off the 2021 World Tour series, expect to receive a huge content drop to arrive in the game.
