Ruby Mobile Legends Build – Beginner’s Guide

Ruby is a fighter / tank hero who specializes in crowd control and regeneration. Ruby can be annoying in the lane because of his high sustain with the help of her passive. She also has good mobility, area of effect damage and utility, making her a good choice for initiation in teamfights.

Disclaimer: I’m just a casual gamer and not a pro. I just want to share with you things that works very well for me when playing this hero.

Skills

Passive / Let’s Dance!: Ruby has 10% physical lifesteal effect of her own and inherits 115% physical lifesteal from equipment. After any skill is cast, Ruby can jump to another place, gaining physical and magic defense for a short period of time.

Skill 1 / Be good!: Ruby quickly slashes forward with her scythe, dealing physical damage. At the same time, she casts a shockwave forward, dealing physical damage to enemies and slowing them by 40% for 2 seconds.

Skill 2 / Don’t Run, Wolf King!: Ruby wields her scythe to attack twice. Each attack deals physical damage, stunning enemies for 0.5 second and slowly pulling them together.

Skill 3 / I’m Offended!: Ruby uses the scythe to attack in a wide range, dealing physical damage to enemies, pulling them to her and stunning them for 0.5 second.

Fighter

• Bravery – +4 Physical ATK/Level
• Invasion – +2 Physical PEN/Level
• Festival of Blood – Gains 8% Spell Vamp. Killing an enemy hero grants an extra 1% Spell Vamp (up to 12%).

Tank

• Vitality – +65/+130/+200 HP
• Inspire – +2.5%/+5%/+8% CD Reduction
• Concussive Blast – 1 second after basic attack deals AoE magic damage. 15 seconds cooldown.

Assassin

• Agility – +2% Movement Speed/Level
• Invasion – +2 Physical PEN/Level
• High and Dry – Increases damage by 6% on the enemy hero when there is no other heroes nearby.

Spells for Ruby

• Flicker – This can be used together with his Ultimate
• Purify – Use this if the enemy composition has a lot of crowd control

Other Tips

• Poke enemies with your 1st skill
• Clear minion waves faster with your 1st skill and 2nd skill
• Use your skill to trigger passive in chasing or escaping from enemies
• You can pass through some walls with the help of her passive
• You can use your Ultimate to drag enemies closer to your tower or teammates
• You can combine Ruby’s Ultimate with flicker to drag the enemy further
• Using your skills will make Ruby more tanky for a few seconds
• Maximize Ruby’s lifesteal by hitting as many enemies as possible
• Skill Combo: 3rd Skill > 2nd Skill > 1st Skill
• or: 1st Skill > 3rd Skill > 2nd Skill
