In Pokemon Games, “Exclusives” are Pokemons that are only available and can only be encountered and captured in a certain version of the game series. One example is in Generation 3 Games Ruby and Sapphire, Legendary Pokemon Groudon is exclusive to Ruby, and the Legendary Pokemon Kyogre is exclusive to Sapphire. Another example is from Pokemon Sword and Shield, where Legendary Pokemon Zacian is exclusive to Sword while Zamazenta is exclusive to Shield.
The same can be said for the latest Pokemon game, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, as they also have version-exclusive Pokemon that you can only obtain in one version.
If you are finding it hard to choose which version of the game you would buy, then here are the list of Pokemon Exclusives for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet to help you decide.
