Nexplay Predator Solid Eliminated from MPL PH Season 6

Fan Favorite NXP Predator solid was eliminated by Bren Esports, 3-0, on Day 2 of the MPL PH Season 6 Playoffs. The former never got a chance to retaliate as the latter displayed their experience and proved to be the better squad to a much younger team.

NXP Predator Solid vs Bren Esports

Game 1

Bren Esports displayed dominance and consistency throughout the match, capping it off with a savage by KarlTzy with his Lancelot and securing Game number 1.

Game 2

NXP tried to turn the tables around in Game 2 as they were able to secure a comfort pick for their superstar tank player, Yawi, which is Khufra, while Karltzy picked NXP’s core hero in the 1st game, which is Ling.

NXP was able to get a 2-0 lead at the start but it wasn’t enough for them to prevent Bren Esports from taking the first turtle.

Things went downhil in the 6 minute mark for NXP, as Bren Esports was able to secure the 2nd turtle and wiping NXP in 5v5 clash.

A lord take by Bren Esports in the 12 minute mark and a 5 man wipeout was all they need to secure Game 2.

Game 3

Bren Esports was able to secure comfort picks with Selena and Lusty, and took an early 4-2 lead in the 3 minute mark led by KarlTzy’s Leomord.

But this was a different story as NXP Solid was able to take the lead in the 7 minute mark, leading 7-5 in kills and a 2k Lead Gold.

It was all good for NXP until the 13th minute mark, when they were wiped out by Bren Esports, and the latter securing the Lord.

Despite NXP’s effort and and Renejay and Yawi’s excellent performance with their respective heroes, Bren Esports was able to destroy NXP’s inhibitor turrets and ended the match before the 18th minute mark, securing game 3 and advancing to the semifinals.

Onic PH dethroned Aura PH

Back to back champions Aura PH were eliminated early on too by their Arch Nemesis Onic PH, 0-3, denying them of the 3 peat.

It was a sweet victory for Onic PH as they were able to exact their revenge against Aura PH (Formerly Sunsparks), who defeated them for two straight years in the MPL (Season 4 and Season 5).

Day 3 of the Playoffs will continue on October 24, 2020, with Execration facing Omega PH esports in the first semis series, followed by the semifinals match between Back to back first runner ups Onic PH and heavy favorites Bren Esports.
