Mario Golf: Super Rush Trailer Shows Characters and Game Modes

Up to 16 playable characters and game modes such as including Speed Golf, Battle Golf, and Golf Adventure are revealed as Nintendo released another trailer for the Mario Golf: Super Rush. The game is set to be released on June 25, 2021.

This new Mario game has easy controls and lets you use play via button controls and motion control, making you feel like you are really golfing.

Though it stated that the controls are easy to pick up, the game will also feature shots curve shots, spins that is fit for a pro golfer.

It also has other features such as:

• Shot gauge – It lets you see how your shot will curve due to slopes
• Scan function – lets you examine a course’s terrain

Characters

The trailer also revealed 16 playable characters, which has different attributes such as power, stamina, speed, control and spin. It also allows you to play with up to four players local and online with variety of courses that you can only see on a Mario Game.

Game Modes

The main highlight of the trailer is probably the game modes that were shown.

1. Speed Golf – All of you will tee off at once but the twists is it will always be your turn. You need to speed off and run to your ball and hit it again. The goal is to hit it again and again as fast as you can until, and the first one to put the ball on the goal wins.

Throughout the game, you can collect items that can restore your stamina and you can also use a special dash that is unique to each character which can be used to speed you up until it lasts.

Characters also have special shots. Some of the special that were shown were of Mario’s, where it knock back other balls on impact and the other one clears any balls on its path.

There are also obstacles in the map making this game mode more challenging that it already is.

2. Battle Golf – Players battle to claim any of the 9 holes they can before any opponents. First to capture 3 flag wins.

3. Golf Adventure – This is a solo campaign where you go on a golf adventure. You need to accomplish multiple missions and surprisingly, boss battles. Your character is also capable of leveling up, where you can allocate points to strengthen your stats.
