Ling Mobile Legends Build – Beginner’s Guide

Ling is an assassin champion who can deal massive burst damage and can carry the game for his team. His ability to walk from wall to wall makes him a problem for the enemy team as he is very hard to catch and good in chasing enemies. He is also good in split pushing because of his ability to change lanes quickly.

Disclaimer: I’m just a casual gamer and not a pro. I just want to share with you things that works very well for me when playing this hero.

Skills

Passive / Cloud Walker: Lightness helps him jump among walls. When he is resting on the wall, Ling restores 2 energy per second. While dealing damage to enemies restores 5 energy. This passive also grants Ling 15% critical chance but decreases his critical damage to 140%.

Skill 1 / Flinch Poise:

Passive: Ling’s critical chance increase by 5% permanently

Active: Ling leaps onto a wall, entering half-stealth state, restoring energy and gaining 30% movement speed. If he receive damage then he will be out of this half-stealth state. If he is stunned using CC, he will fall onto the ground and will be slowed for 2 seconds by 30%.

Skill 2 / Defiant Sword: Ling dashes toward a designated direction and attacks enemies dealing physical damage. If he uses this skill when he is on a wall, he will jump into the designated area, dealing physical damage within the small area and slowing them by 30% for 1 second. Will deal extra slow if the attacks deal critical damage.

Skill 3 / Tempest of Blades: Ling jumps in the air for 1.5 seconds and during this he becomes invulnerable, gains 10% movement speed and is able to move. After the cast, he will land on the ground and deals physical damage within the area of effect, knocking up enemies in the center for 1 second and generating a Sword Field that lasts for 8 seconds.

There will be 4 field eyes in the Sword Field named Tempest of Blades and when he touches it, the cooldown of Defiant Sword will reset and will restore 25 energy.

2ND SKILL > 3RD SKILL (ULTIMATE) > 1ST SKILL

Blade of Despair, Ice Hunter’s Warrior Boots, Demon Hunter Sword, Endless Battle, Berserker’s Fury, Immortality

Assassin

• Mastery – +1.50%/+3.00%/+5.00% CD Reduction
• Fatal – +1.20% Crit Chance/Level
• Bounty Hunter – Gain an extra 100 gold from killing enemy hero (Up to 1300 gold).

You can also use Killing Spree instead of Bounty Hunter.

Spell for Ling

• Retribution – Allows Ling to farm efficiently in the game

Other Tips

• Always try as much as possible to get the Purple Buff for Ling
• Farm in the early game as Ling is very item dependent
• Ling regens energy whenever he hits an enemy with his basic attack or when he is resting on a wall
• He is also invisible in the mini-map when he is on the walls
• You can’t be target by locked control skills whenever your are on the wall
• You can either use a basic attack or a skill from you to get down from the wall
• His 2nd Skill is Ling’s Main source of damage besides his basic attack and it can pass through walls
• You can use Ling’s Ultimate to dodge enemy skills
• Always touch the field eye on his ultimate to reset his Defiant Sword (2nd Skill)
• Think first before you engage into a clash as Crowd Control skills can be a big problem for Ling
• Skill Combo: 1st Skill > 2nd Skill > 3rd Skill (Ultimate)
