Labyrinth of Ragnarok Gude and Walkthrough

Labyrinth of Ragnarok is a new Mobile Game for Android and iOS that lets you explore dungeons, defeat powerful monsters along the way and play with other people to defeat other players.

If you’ve played the classic, then you won’t be having a problem familiriazing with the terms. The only thing that you need to do is to tackle the unique gameplay that this game has to offer.

This guide will cover the basics of the game and everything you need to know so your progress will be smooth.

Gameplay

The game is on portrait mode and it will mainly revolve in the mazes where you will defeat enemies, MVP’s and eventually bosses.

You will only get pass through those levels if you defeat a boss in a certain maze.

After entering the field, you will have a minute to wait for you to battle the boss. For the meantime, you can fight against little mobs available in the map that gives you exp and zeny.

MVP’s will occassionaly appear on every level and defeating it will give you rewards such as upgrading materials.

Sharevice

With the Share System, you can pick up an adventurer in game to aid you in battle. You can get up to 4 Shares or 4 Characters hunting with you provided that you have already unlocked all slots, making the adventure a lot easier.

Defeating MVP’s with other adventures will earn you extra rewards.

Take note that there is a limited amount of time you can go hiring Share characters and it is reduced by the number of share characters you currently have.

You can add time by recharging. A 4 hour charge is provided free every day and it will reset every midnight. (GMT + 8)

Job Change

1st Job change can be accessed when you reach job level 5. There are 4 classes to choose from namely; Swordsman, Magician, Thief and Archer.

  • 2nd Job Change – Job Level 30
  • 3rd Job Change – Job Level 50
  • 4th Job Change – Job Level 140

Stats

Stat points are given whenever your Base level goes up. You either have the option to manually assign it or let the game do it for you.

I suggest doing it manually so you’ll have the freedom to experiment what kind of stats works best for you. There is also an option to reset stats but it will require you 100 Nyangvine to do so.

Skill

Each job has different skills that you can equip for battle. These have different effects and durations and can be used manually or on auto-pilot. Skills can be leveled up until 30 provided that you have enough skill points.

To equip, select a skill and tap a slot and it will be placed there.

Skill points can also be reset for free for the first time.

Usable Items

After Main Quest 11, you can now use ‘buffs’ or the usable items we know just like the old days such as White and Berserk Pots. These are manually used in the buff menu and has its own durations.

Upgrading

Of course, this wouldn’t be a Ragnarok game without the classic upgrading and just like in the old days, it requires some materials for you to do so.

  • Zeny
  • Elunium (Armors and other Items)
  • Oridecon (Weapons)

You can get some of these upgrading materials from defeating MVP monsters.

Just go to Bag > Gear > Choose an Item you want to upgrade and click upgrade.

Crafting

Unlocked at main quest 36. This is where you can create powerful items, weapons and armors etc. provided that you have the necessary requirements

Adventure

If you want to keep tabs of your progress, you can go to the Adventure Menu. This is where you can see the Mazes, its corresponding levels, Bosses and the list of rewards you get everytime you defeat an MVP in the map.

This menu can be found on the top of the main screen.

Dispatch

Dispatch system is sending out one of your companions into an adventure and in return they will bring rare materials from the field of your choice. Companions are obtained through the in-game Shop.

Take note that some of the Items in game can be only acquired through Dispatch.

Duel

Duel in Labyrinth of Ragnarok can be accessed after reaching main quest 20. This is where you can get Duel Pieces from players by defeating them. These Duel Pieces can also be acquired by defeating MVP’s.

Just don’t forget to recruit PVP companions and consider the level gap before engaging into battle or you will suffer the same fate as me.

Cards

You can start equipping cards if your equipment is already level 10. These cards are obtained when you get pass through Labyrinth Stages.

The amount of cards you can equip depends on its level.

  • Level 10 – 1 Card
  • Level 20 – 2 Cards
  • Level 30 – 3 Cards
  • Level 40 – 4 Cards

Cards can be upgraded too but its success rate lessens as the level goes up.

Labyrinth

Labyrinths are instances where you need to defeat the Boss so you’ll get the reward in the form of Cards. You can access these by clicking Labyrinth Island at the top of the main menu.

These mazes are very tricky though, as you cannot go straight ahead and fight the boss.

In Labyrinth Mazes, you need first to collect 5 Blue Coins before you proceed to the Boss Fight. This is crucial as if you run into the boss without doing the requirement first, you will be immediately disqualified. Running into its minions will also cause you to lose some of your HP.

After deafeating the Boss, you will get a random card.

Dungeon

Dungeon will be unlocked after clearing main quest 25. Here you can challenge different bosses and you’ll get rewards for defeating them. Other players can join you too to defeat the boss.

There is a time limit and you will be redirected outside if you don’t defeat it within the given time.

Trade Items

You can trade and sell items, Zeny and RO Points in the Market. Not available until Main Quest 67.

Bag Weight

Just like in the old times, Bag Weight is very crucial as it will determine the amount of items you can carry in-game. You cannot gain equipment if your bag is already full.

Bag weight can be upgraded using Nyangvine.

Shop

This is where you can buy Nyangvine, Boxes (Companion, Costumes, Gear, Dispatch, Card, Lucky Material and Jewelry), consumables and other usable items.

Change Nickname and Create New Character

You can create a new character and also change nickname by clicking Hero icon then click Profile.

  • Click ‘Change Nickname’ to change name. (Free for the first time)
  • Click ‘Select Character’ to create new character

Login Rewards

Don’t forget to go to the Event Menu then Login Rewards to claim your daily rewards by just logging in religiously.

Tree

You also get rewards equals to the amount of time you are logged in. These rewards include:

  • Nyangvine
  • Zeny
  • Materials

Quests

Besides from the Main Quest, you can also do the daily quests to get rewards and experience.

Rewards such as RO Points and Zeny are also given every time you earn an achievement in game.

Mailbox

Mailbox is a hidden gem that you need to check from time to time as this is where you can see the rewards that is given to you in game.

Community

If you ever feel like you are alone, you can slide to the channel chat where you can see players interacting with each other, selling stuff or just catching up with each other. Who knows, maybe you can meet your destined companion for life here. Kidding aside, it is a best way to keep up to whatever is happening to the community so you don’t get left behind.

There are still a lot of areas to cover and I will update this article when I already got access to the things such as Zeny Dungeons, Exp Dungeon, Market Place, PvP, Airship Assault, Sharevice Level Up, Brawl, Central Laboratory, Element Enhance and Gear Transendence.
