How to Find Facebook Draft

This tutorial is for Android Devices only

Think before you click“. This has been my mantra ever since I started using the Facebook App way back 2009.

One thing that I’ve learned in using Facebook is that you should always be careful on what you post as it can easily make or break you in the social media universe. That is why every time I try to share my thoughts or post something, I make sure that it has been well-thought-out, non-offensive and has no grammar mistakes.

But even that requires effort and might take some time.

Fortunately, Facebook App has its own draft feature that lets you save a post that you crafted earlier that you haven’t finished. And if you have already made up your mind on sharing it then you can go back to that draft to finish it and finally post it on your wall.

But where do you find it?

Trust me, this has been troubling me for quite sometime and thankfully I found the solution after spending much time on the app.

How to find Drafts on Facebook for Android

Go to Facebook and try to write something on your ‘What’s on your mind’ column

Click the ‘Back’ button besides the word ‘Create Post’ and you will see an option to save your unfinished post as a draft

After that, you will see a notification to see that your draft has been saved

Click that notification and you will be redirected to the list of drafts that you have made for the past 3 days. Click the draft that you want to finish so you can post it on your timeline

To remove drafts, click the 3 dot button beside it and press delete.

Important Notes:

  • The notification and the drafts would only last 3 days
  • You cannot save a draft until you type at least one character as you cannot save an empty post.
  • This draft option is not available for Facebook on Web Browsers
  • If you accidentally removed the notification on Facebook then you can just repeat the process to make the notification visible again.

If you have any questions about the process, then don’t hesitate to leave a comment below.
