How to Check MMR in Dota 2

DOTA 2 has a matchmaking rating wherein it determines the skill level of each player. The higher your MMR is the higher your skill level. The same MMR is also used in matchmaking so you will be paired with other players with the same skill level. To gain MMR, you need to accumulate wins while losing means it will be decreased.

You also earn seasonal rank medals based on your MMR. These medals are Herald, Guardian, Crusader, Archon, Legend, Ancient, Divine, Immortal (Placed, Top 1000, Top 100, and Top 10). Each of these medals corresponds to a certain number of MMR but it will always match their estimated medal.

If you want to check the exact number for your MMR then follow the instructions below.

1. Click your Profile in the main menu

2. Click Stats

3. MMR is located on the top right

Remember that the medals that you’ve earned will be reset at the end of each season. You can also choose to reset your rank manually at the start of each ranked season under Settings -> Account -> MMR Recalibration.
