Gloo is a tank hero who is good in regeneration and control. He can initiate ganks and immobilised enemies with proper combo of his skill. He is very tanky and has a powerful passive, which enables him to slow down enemies and makes himself more tanky.
Disclaimer: I’m just a casual gamer and not a pro. I just want to share with you things that works very well for me when playing this hero.
Skills
Passive / Stick, Stick: Enemies gain stack of Sticky each time they are hit by Gloo’s skills, decreasing their movement speed by 6% for 6 seconds and this stacks up to 5. Each stack of Sticky on an enemy reduces their damage dealth to Gloo by 8%.
Skill 1 / Slam, Slam: Gloo reaches out and slams the ground, dealing magic damage to the enemy. On the final location, a Goo is left behind and it explodes after 3 seconds to deal magic damage to nearby enemies and immobilizing them for 1 second. Gloo can also make the Goo explode immediately by touching it.
Skill 2 / Pass, Pass: Gloo stretches forth to deal magic damage to enemies on its path immobilizing them for 0.5 second. If this skill hits a a Goo, Gloo will charge over to it, dragging enemies on its path in the same direction for a distance.
Skill 3 / Split, Split: Gloo splits into 12 for up to 10 seconds and each have 25% HP. During this time all Goos can move together freely as they increase their movement speed by 25%. Gloo recovers 4% of its max HP every 1 second and deals magic damage every 0.25 second to target it hits.
Grab, Grab: Gloo attaches itself to a target enemy hero with full Sticky stacks, immediately regaining 30% of its own max HP, during which it can cast skills with cooldown times halved but he cannot move. Basic attack deals magic damage at its current location and 80% of this is regained as its own HP. Lasts 9 seconds.
Go, Go: Gloo can choose to leave the host before the duration is over.

1ST SKILL > 3RD SKILL (ULTIMATE) > 2ND SKILL

Warrior Boots – Dire Hit, Cursed Helmet, Oracle, Dominance Ice, Thunder Belt, Immortality
- You can remove roaming boots if you are going to the sidelanes
Emblem for Gloo
Tank
- Vitality – +65/+130/+200 HP
- Inspire – +2.5%/+5%/+8% CD Reduction
- Concussive Blast – 1 second after Basic Attack deals 125+(+7% HP) Magic Damage in an AoE. 15 seconds CD.
Support
- Agility – +2% Movement SPD/Level
- Recovery – +5 Hybrid Regen/Level
- Pull Yourself – Resurrecting time and battle spell cooldown is reduced by 15%.
Spell for Gloo
- Flicker – Since Gloo is more of a control hero, this spell is very useful to him
- Execute – Gloo can also deal burst damage so execute is a good option too
Other Tips
- Gloo’s passive works on jungle monsters but not on minions.
- You can poke enemies with your 2nd skill
- You can start ganking even if you only have 1st and 2nd skill
- You can walk on the area of effect of its 1st skill if you want to trigger the stun immediately
- You can combine 1st skill with 2nd skill to initiate or to escape
- You can use Gloo’s Ultimate to bring the enemy that you’ve attached to to your teammates or tower
- It is recommended to use your Ultimate and attach to the main damage dealer of the enemy
- Gloo’s Ultimate can also be used for escaping too
- You can immediately cancel your Ultimate by pressing it again
- Skill Combo: 1st Skill > 2nd Skill > 3rd Skill
