Draven is a marksman carry champion built around throwing and catching spinning axes. Through his gameplay, Draven can dish out tons of damage and dominate a game. He is also exception at cleaning up fights.
How to Play Draven
- Poke enemies with Spinning Axe
- Always catch your Spinning Axe to automatically throw another one
- But if catching Spinning Axe will put you on trouble, then it is not worth it
- You can have two Spinning Axes at once
- Spinning Axe will fall close by if he is standing and it will fall along his path if he is running
- Use Blood Rush to chase enemies
- You can continuously use Blood Rush while if you always catch your Spinning Axe
- Stand Aside can be used to poke enemies
- You can quickly reactive Whirling Death if you miss the target in the initial direction
- Draven should prioritize positioning and always be at the back lines
- Draven is perfect in taking down low health targets
Skills
Passive / League of Draven: Killing a unit or catching a Spinning Axe grants a stack of Adoration. Killing champions consume all Adoration stacks and grant 50 bonus gold plus 4 per stack of Adoration.
Skill 1 / Spinning Axe: Gains a Spinning Axe, causing his next attack within 6 seconds to deal an additional physical damage. The Spinning Axe bounces off the target, allowing Draven to catch and regain it.
Skill 2 / Blood Rush: Gains 20% Attack Speed for 3 seconds and 40% decaying movement speed for 1.5 seconds. Catching a Spinning Axe refreshes Blood Rush’s cooldown.
Skill 3 / Stand Aside: Throws his axes, dealing physical damage and knocking enemies aside, slowing them by 25% for 2 seconds.
Skill 4 / Whirling Death: Hurls two massive axes, dealing physical damage. The axes return to Draven when they reach the edge of the map, hit a champion or upon reactivation.

Runes
- Conqueror – Gain stacks of Adaptive Force when hitting a champion with separate attacks or abilities. When fully stacked, deal bonus adaptive damage to champions. Stacks up to 5 times.
- Gathering Storm – Every 2 minutes, gain 2 AD or 2 AP.
- Spirit Walker – Gain 50 max health and 20% slow resistance.
- Sweet Tooth – Increases Honeyfruit healing by 25%. Each fruit also provides 20 gold.
