After invading the Nintendo Switch earlier this March, Game Director Chad Grenier announced Apex Legends will be coming into mobile and regional beta testing will start later this month.
Gamers from the Philippines and India will be the first one to try out the game. Only thousands of players from these region will be able to play from the start but they are also planning of rolling out the game to more regions.
The beta test will be first available to android devices and later on to iOS Support. And in the near future, they will also set up a page that will allow us to pre-register into the game.
They said that it is a new version of the game, but it is still true to the original. This is due to the fact that it will be specially designed for mobile phones, with streamlined controls and optimizations.
The game is free-to-play, and obviously it won’t feature cross platform so you won’t be able to play with the console or PC Versions as it is specifically designed for mobile play.
