Axie Infinity Card Guide

There are over 132 cards in the Axie Infinity Universe divided into 6 classes: Aqua, Beast, Plant, Bird, Bug and Reptile. From there, it is also divided by parts (Tail, Back, Mouth, Horn) and by range and Costs.

It is imperative that we familiar with these cards, its effects and combos if we want to achieve a high win rate in the Arena Mode. Most of them deal a lot of damage, for defending, for setting up, applying buffs and debuffs and some of them are good when combined with other cards.

Aqua

Axie Infinity Aqua Cards

Aqua Cards have an advantage with Bug, Beast and Mech but are weak against Plant, Dusk and Reptile. More on speed and HP.

  • Tail Slap (0 Energy) – 20 Damage and 0 Shield: Gain Energy when comboed with another plant
  • Crimson Water (1 Energy) – 130 Damage 20 Shield: Target injured enemy if this Axie is below 50% HP
  • Scale Dart (1 Energy) – 120 Damage and 30 Shield: Draw a card if target is in last stand
  • Hero’s Bane (1 Energy) – 120 Damage and 30 Shield: End Target’s Last Stand
  • Star Shuriken (1 Energy) – 110 Damage and 10 Shield: Target cannot enter last stand if this card brings its HP to zero
  • Swift Escape (1 Energy) – 105 Damage and 20 Shield: Apply Speed+ to this Axie when attacked.
  • Clam Slash (1 Energy) – 110 Damage and 40 Shield: Apply Attack+ to this Axie when attacking Beast, Bug or Mech Targets
  • Angry Lam (1 Energy) – 110 Damage and 40 Shield: Deal 120% damage if this Axie’s HP is below 50%
  • Fish Hook (1 Energy) – 105 Damage and 20 Shield: Apply Attack+ to this Axie when attacking Plant, Reptile or Dusk Targets
  • Upstream Swim (1 Energy) – 110 Damage and 30 Shield: Apply Speed+ to this Axie for 2 rounds when comboed with another Aquatic Class Card
  • Water Sphere (1 Energy) – 110 Damage and 30 Shield: Apply Chill to target for 2 seconds.
  • Spinal Trap (1 Energy) – 100 Damage and 20 Shield: Prioritize idle target when comboed with at least 2 additional cards
  • Shell Jab (1 Energy) – 100 Damage and 50 Shield: Deal 130% when attacking an idle target
  • Black Bubble (1 Energy) – 100 Damage and 40 Shield: Apply Jinx to target for 2 rounds
  • Flanking Smack (1 Energy) – 100 Damage and 40 Shield: Deal 120% damage if this Axie attacks first
  • Aqua Vitality (1 Energy) – 80 Damage and 35 Shield: Successful attacks restore 50 HP for each Anemone part this Axie posseses
  • Aquaponics (1 Energy) – 80 Damage and 35 Shield: Successful attacks restore 50 HP for each Anemone part this
  • Swallow (1 Energy) – 80 Damage and 30 Shield: Heal this Axie by the damage inflicted with this card
  • Shipwreck (1 Energy) – 60 Damage and 90 Shield: Apply Attack+ to this Axie if this shield breaks
  • Deep Sea Gore (1 Energy) – 50 Damage and 80 Shield: Add 30% to this Axie’s shield when Attacking
  • Chitin Jump (1 Energy) – 30 Damage and 30 Shield: Prioritize Furthest Target
  • Shelter (1 Energy) – 0 Damage and 115 Shield: Disable critical strikes on thie Axie during this round

Beast

Axie Infinity Beast Cards

Beast cards have an advantage against Reptile, Dusk and Plant but are weak against Aqua, Dawn and Bird. More on critical strike and damage.

  • Heroic Reward (0 Energy) – 50 Damage 0 Shield: Draw a card when attacking an Aquatic, Bird or Dawn Target
  • Self Rally (0 Energy) – 0 Damage and 30 Shield: Apply 2 Morale+ to this Axie for 2 rounds.
  • Luna Absorb (0 Energy) – 0 Damage and 30 Shield: Gain 1 Energy
  • Sinister Strike (1 Energy) – 130 Damage and 20 Shield: Deal 200% damage on critical strikes
  • Revenge Arrow (1 Energy) – 125 Damage and 25 Shield: Deal 150% damage if this Axie is on last stand
  • Branch Charge (1 Energy) – 125 Damage and 25 Shield: Increase crit chance by 20% if chained or comboed with another plant card
  • Ivory Stab (1 Energy) – 80 Damage and 30 Shield: Gain 1 energy per critical strike dealt by your team this round.
  • Merry Legion (1 Energy) – 65 Damage and 85 Shield: Add 20% shield to this Axie when played in a chain.
  • Sugar Rush (1 Energy) – 120 Damage and 20 Shield: Deal 10% additional damage for each allied Bug Axie
  • Hare Dagger (1 Energy) – 120 Damage and 30 Shield: Draw a card if this Axie attacks at the beginning of the round
  • Nitro Leap (1 Energy) – 120 Damage and 35 Shield: Always strike first if this Axie is in Last Stand
  • Rampant Howl (1 Energy) – 110 Damage and 40 Shield: Apply Morale+ to your team for 2 rounds if this Axie attacks while in Last Stand
  • Nut Crack (1 Energy) – 105 Damage and 30 Shield: Deal 120% damage when comboed with another Nut cracker card
  • Death Mark (1 Energy) – 90 Damage and 30 Shield: Apply Lethal to target if this Axie’s HP is below 30%
  • Piercing Sound (1 Energy) – 80 Damage and 40 Shield: Destroy 1 or your opponent’s Energy
  • Night Steal (1 Energy) – 80 Damage and 10 Shield: Steal 1 energy from your opponents when comboed with another card
  • Single Combat (1 Energy) – 80 Damage and 0 Shield: Guaranteed critical strike when comboed with at least 2 other cards
  • Merry Legion (1 Energy) – 75 Damage and 85 Shield: Add 20% shield to this Axie when played with chain
  • Woodman Power (1 Energy) – 80 Damage and 80 Shield: Add shield equal to the damage this cards deals to Plant targets
  • Juggling Balls (1 Energy) – 40 Damage and 30 Shield: Strike 3 times
  • Gerbil Jump (1 Energy) – 40 Damage and 20 Shield: Skip the closest target if there are 2 more enemies remaining

Plant

Axie Infinity Plant Cards

Plant cards have an advantage against Bird, Dawn and Aqua but are weak against Bug, Mech and Beast. More on HP and Defense.

  • Cattail Slap (0 Energy) – 20 Damage and 30 Shield: Draw a card if struck by a Beast, Bug or Mech Card
  • Cleanse Scent (0 Energy) – 0 Damage and 50 Shield: Remove all debuffs from this Axie
  • Refresh (0 Energy) – 0 Damage and 50 Shield: Remove all debuffs from a teammate in front (same row) of this Axie
  • Prickly Trap (1 Energy) – 115 Damage and 20 Shield: Deal 120% damage if this Axie attacks last
  • Wooden Stab (1 Energy) – 105 Damage and 40 Shield: Deal 120% damage if this Axie’s Shield breaks
  • Spicy Surprise (1 Energy) – 90 Damage and 50 Shield: Disable target’s mouth cards next round
  • Bamboo Clan (1 Energy) – 80 Damage and 70 Shield: Increase 20% damage when chained with another Plant card
  • Carrot Hammer (1 Energy) – 70 Damage and 40 Shield: Gain 1 energy if this Axie’s Shield breaks. Can only trigger once per round
  • Aqua Deflect (1 Energy) – 70 Damage and 80 Shield: Cannot be targeted by Aquatic Cards if this Axie has teammates remaining
  • Vegan Diet (1 Energy) – 65 Damage and 65 Shield: Heal this Axie by the damage this card inflicts on a plant target
  • Tumip Rocket (1 Energy) – 60 Damage and 80 Damage: Target a bird if comboed with 2 or more cards
  • Leek Leek (1 Energy) – 60 Damage and 80 Shield: When hit, disable the attacker’s ranged cards next round
  • Drain Bite (1 Energy) – 55 Damage and 55 Shield: Heal this Axie by the damage this card inflict
  • Aqua Stock (1 Energy) – 45 Damage and 80 Shield: Gain 1 energy if this Axie is struck by an Aquatic Card
  • Seed Bullet (1 Energy) – 30 Damage and 30 Shield: Target the fastest enemy
  • Vegetable Bite (1 Energy) – 30 Damage and 30 Shield: Steal 1 energy from your opponent when comboed with another card
  • Gas Unleash (1 Energy) – 20 Damage and 20 Shield: Apply poison each time this card is used to attack or defend
  • Shrooms Grace (1 Energy) – 0 Damage and 40 Shield: Heal this Axie for 120 HP
  • October Treat (1 Energy) – 0 Damage and 115 Shield: Draw a card if this Axie’s shield doesn’t break this round
  • Healing Aroma (1 Energy) – 0 Damage and 50 Shield: Heal this Axie for 120 HP
  • Sweet Party (2 Energy) – 0 Damage and 40 Shield: Heal front teammate for 270 HP. If there are no front teammates, heal this Axie Instead.
  • Forest Spirit (1 Energy) – 0 Heal front teammate for 190 HP

Bird

Axie Infinity Bird Cards

Bird cards have an advantage against Bug, Mech and Beast but are weak against Plant, Dusk, and Reptile. More on Speed and Morale.

  • All Out Shout (0 Energy) – 110 Damage and 0 Shield: Inflict 30% of this Axie’s max HP to itself
  • Balloon Pop (0 Energy) – 40 Damage and 0 Shield: Apply Fear to target for 1 turn. If defending, apply Fear to self until next round
  • Triple Threat (0 Energy) – 40 Damage and 10 Shield: Attack twice if this Axie has any debbufs
  • Cockadoodledoo (0 Energy) – 0 Damage and 30 Shield: Apply Attack+ to this Axie
  • Risky Feather (1 Energy) – 140 Damage and 10 Shield: Apply 2 Attack- to this Axie.
  • Patient Hunter (1 Energy) – 130 Damage and 0 Shield: Target an Aquatic class if this Axie’s HP is below 50%
  • Headshot (1 Energy) – 130 Damage and 0 Shield: Disable target’s horn cards next round
  • Heart Break (1 Energy) – 120 Damage and 20 Shield: Apply Morale- to enemy for 2 rounds
  • Blackmail (1 Energy) – 120 Damage and 10 Shield: Transfer all debuffs on this Axie to target
  • Eggbomb (1 Energy) – 120 Damage and 0 Shield: Apply Aroma on this Axie until next round
  • Air Force One (1 Energy) – 120 Damage and 30 Shield: Deal 120% damage when chained with another Trump Card
  • Peace Treaty (1 Energy) – 120 Damage and 30 Shield: Apply Attack- on target
  • Ill-omened (1 Energy) – 110 Damage and 30 Shield: Apply Jinx to target for 2 rounds
  • Insectivore (1 Energy) – 110 Damage and 40 Shield: Target Bug class enemy if this Axie’s HP is below 50%
  • Early Bird (1 Energy) – 110 Damage an 20 Shield: Deal 120% damage if this Axie attacks first
  • Cool Breeze (1 Energy) – 110 Damage and 30 Shield: Apply Chill to target 2 rounds
  • Feather Image (1 Energy) – 100 Damage and 50 Shield: Deal 120% when chained with another Lunge Card
  • Puffy Smack (1 Energy) – 100 Damage and 50 Shield: Skip targets that are in the Last Stand.
  • Smart Shot (1 Energy) – 50 Damage and 10 Shield: Skip the closest target if there are 2 more enemies remaining.
  • Soothing Song (1 Energy) – 60 Damage and 0 Shield: Ignore shield and apply sleep to target.
  • Sunder Armor (1 Energy) – 40 Damage and 90 Shield: Add 20% shield to this Axie for each debuff it posseses
  • Dark Swoop (1 Energy) – 25 Damage and 0 Shield: Target fastest enemy

Bug

Axie Infinity Bug Cards

Bug cards have an advantage against Plant, Dusk, and Reptile but are weak against Aqua, Dawn and Bird. More on HP and Morale.

  • Grub Explode (0 Energy) – 70 Damage and 0 Shield: Deal 200% damage when attacking in Last Stand. Axie’s Last Stand ends after it attacks.
  • Mystic Rush (0 Energy) – 30 Damage and 0 Shield: Apply Speed- to target for 2 rounds
  • Sunder Claw (0 Energy) – 30 Damage and 10 Shield: Randomly discard 1 card from your enemy’s hand
  • Mite Bite (0 Energy) – 30 Damage and 0 Shield: Add 100% more damage when comboed with another card.
  • Twin Needle (0 Energy) – 40 Damage and 0 Shield: 30 Damage and 0 Shield: Attack twice when comboed with another card.
  • Disguise (0 Energy) – 20 Damage and 20 Shield: Gain 1 energy when comboed with another plant card
  • Buzzing Wind (0 Energy) – 10 Damage and 30 Shield: Apply Fragile to target until next round
  • Dull Grip (1 Energy) – 120 Damage and 0 Shield: Deal 30% more damage to shielded targets
  • Terror Chomp (1 Energy) – 100 Damage and 35 Shield: Apply Fear to target for 2 turns when played in a Chain
  • Bug Splat (1 Energy) – 110 Damage and 50 Shield: Deal 50% more damage when attacking Bug targets
  • Allergic Reaction (1 Energy) – 100 Damage and 30 Shield: Deal 130% damage to debuffed targets
  • Barb Strike (1 Energy) – 90 Damage and 40 Shield: Apply poison to target when played in a chain
  • Bug Noise (1 Energy) – 110 Damage and 40 Shield: Apply Attack- to target.
  • Scarab Curse (1 Energy) – 110 Damage and 50 Shield: Target cannot be healed for 2 rounds
  • Third Glance (1 Energy) – 90 Damage and 50 Shield: Randomly discard 1 card from your enemy’s hand
  • Bug Signal (1 Energy) – 80 Damage and 50 Shield: Steal energy from your opponent when chained with another “Bug Signal” Card

  • Sticky Goo (1 Energy) – 40 Damage and 60 Shield: Stun attacker if this Axie’s Shield breaks. Can only trigger once per round.
  • Chemical Warfare (1 Energy) – 30 Damage and 100 Shield: Apply Stench to enemy for 1 round
  • Numbing Lecretion (1 Energy) – 30 Damage and 30 Shield: Disable target’s melee card next round

Reptile

Axie Infinity Reptile Cards

Reptile cards have an advantage against Aqua, Dawn and Bird but are weak against Beast, Mech and Bug. More on HP and good debuffs.

  • Vine Dagger (0 Energy) – 20 Damage and 30 Shield: Double shield from this card when comboed with a plant card.
  • Venom Spray (0 Energy) – 20 Damage and 30 Shield: Apply 1 Poison to target.
  • Scaly Lunge (1 Energy) – 110 Damage and 50 Shield: Deal 120% damage when chained with another “Lunge” card.
  • Disarm (1 Energy) – 100 Damage and 40 Shield: Apply Speed- to attacker for 2 rounds.
  • Neuro Toxin (1 Energy) – 100 Damage and 50 Shield: Apply Attack- to poisoned targets.
  • Why So Serious (1 Energy) – 95 Damage and 55 Shield: Heal this Axie by damage inflicted with this card to Aquatic targets.
  • Critical Escape (1 Energy) – 90 Damage and 30 Shield: Reduce damage taken by 15% this round.
  • Scale Dart (1 Energy) – 90 Damage and 60 Shield: Generate 1 energy when attacking a buffed target.
  • Ivory Chop (1 Energy) – 80 Damage and 70 Shield: Draw a card if this Axie’s shield breaks
  • Spike Throw (1 Energy) – 80 Damage and 50 Shield: Target enemy with lowest shield when comboed with 2 or more cards.
  • Nile Strike (1 Energy) – 85 Damage and 60 Shield: Apply Speed- to target for 2 rounds.
  • Surprise Invasion (1 Energy) – 80 Damage and 60 Shield: Deal 130% damage if target is faster than this Axie
  • Tiny Catapult (1 Energy) – 80 Damage and 50 Shield: Reflect 50% range damage back at attacker.
  • Disarm (1 Energy) – 100 Damage and 40 Shield: Apply speed- to attacker for 2 rounds
  • Overgrow Keratin (1 Energy) – 80 Damage and 20 Shield: Recover 20 shield per turn
  • Kotaro Bite (1 Energy) – 85 Damage and 30 Shield: Gain 1 energy if target is faster than this Axie
  • Chomp (1 Energy) – 75 Damage and 50 Shield: Apply Stun to enemy when comboed with at least 2 additional cards
  • Tiny Swing (1 Energy) – 80 Damage and 40 Shield: Deal 150% damage after round 4.
  • Jar Barrage (1 Energy) – 70 Damage and 10 Shield: Attacks that break this Axie’s shield cannot do additional damage. Can only trigger once per round.
  • Poo Fling (1 Energy) – 20 Damage and 100 Shield: Apply Stench to target until end of round.
  • Bulkwark (1 Energy) – 20 Damage and 70 Shield: Reflect 40% of melee damage back to attacker
  • Sneaky Raid (1 Energy) – 20 Damage and 40 Shield: Target the furthest enemy
  • Slippery Shield – 10 Damage and 145 Shield: Add 15% of this Axie shield to adjacent teammates
