Kennen is a mage champion that has high damage output and DPS. He is great on teamfights and can turn the tides of any battle he faces. He is also exceptionally good in 1 v 1 fights making him a lethal champion overall. He is also versatile as he can be played both as an AD and AP champion.
How to Play Kennen
- Poke enemies with Thundering Shuriken
- You can stun opponents by inflicting 3 marks of the storm
- Lightning Rush can be used to initiate teamfights or as an escape tool
- You can use Lightning Rush + Electrical Surge to clear minion waves faster
- Electrical Surge can also be used to harass enemy champions
- Slicing Maelstorm is best used in teamfights
- Kennen is very squishy so think twice before chargin in
- Kennen can be used as an AD champion too
- Skill Combo: 3rd Skill > 4th Skill > 2nd Skill > 1st Skill
Skills
Passive / Mark of the Storm: Hitting enemies with abilities places a Mark of the Storm on them for 6 seconds. At 3 stacks, the enemy is stunned for 1.25 seconds and Kennen gains 25 energy.
Skill 1 / Thundering Shuriken: Throws a shuriken, dealing magic damage to the first enemy hit.
Skill 2 / Electrical Surge: Every 5th attack deals bonus magic damage and applies a Mark of the Storm. Active: Shocks nearby enemies afflicted by Mark of the Storm, dealing magic damage.
Skill 3 / Lightning Rush: Transform into an electric ball for 2 seconds, becoming unable to attack but gaining 100% bonus movement speed and dealing magic damage to enemies he passes through. The bonus movement speed is double during the first 0.5 seconds. Kennen gains 40% attack speed for 3 seconds upon exiting Lightning Rush.
Skill 4 / Slicing Maelstrom: Summon a storm that grants Kennen armor and magic resist deals magic damage every 0.5 seconds for 3 seconds.
Each subsequent bolt against the same target deals 10% increased damage.

Runes
- Conqueror – Gain stacks of Adaptive Force when hitting a champion with separate attacks or abilities. When fully stacked, deal bonus adaptive damage to champions. Stacks up to 5 times.
- Champion – Gain 10% damage against champions. Lose 5% each time you die until the bonus disappears.
- Hunter Titan – Gain 20 max health. Unique champion takedowns grant 20 max health and 4% tenacity.
- Hunter Genius – Gain 2.5 Ability Haste. Unique champion takedowns grant 2.5 Ability Haste.
