With Heroes RPG is an idle game wherein you’ll be collecting historical and mythical individuals to help you fight to take over the world. As of writing, there are 12 servers that you can choose from to play.
After downloading the game, it will require an additional 500 MB download. Don’t worry because they have a mini-game prepared for you until you finish downloading the extra files. It is a Memory Game wherein you need to find and match the same heroes within the time limit.
If you feel lost in the game, then you came to the right article. This guide covers almost all the basics of the game.
Gameplay
Battle
To proceed to battle, just click the dungeon and tap battle. Before you proceed with the match, you’ll see a battle ready screen where you will form a party with the heroes that you currently have. To form a party, just tap the hero that you want to send into the fight, then tap battle. You can also change the hero formation. Remember to select a formation that bests fits your strategy.
Hero Formation
The enemy attacks heroes in the front first. So you better deploy tanky heroes in the front line. Ranger / Assassin / Mage heroes who deal high attacks are more advantageous in the back lines. Take note that the hero you selected first will be placed in the front line.
- 2 – 4 (2 Heroes in front, 4 at the back)
- 4 – 2 (4 Heroes in front, 2 at the back)
- 3 – 3 (3 Heroes in front, 3 at the back)
- 1 – 5 (Lone Hero in front, 5 at the back)
- 5 – 1 (5 Heroes in front, 1 at the back)
Formation Upgrade
You can further strengthen your heroes by upgrading your formation. This can be seen on the battle screen. Gold and Formation Scroll are required to upgrade your formation.
Synergy
The info on the left side of your screen shows the synergy effect received by your heroes. Get bonus buff by collecting and strengthening heroes who share the same synergy with one another.
Combat Order
The info below in the battle screen shows the combat order of the fighting units in the battle.
Heroes
You can see all the available heroes in the Hero Section. You can check the information, equipment, level, stats, and skills of the hero by clicking on it.
By selecting a hero, you can see the hero information on the left. It is also important to level up your heroes when you have the chance.
Hero Faction
Heroes are divided into five factions:
- Flame
- Frost
- Chaos
- Holy
- Forest
Each faction is stronger than another faction.
Hero Ticket
A hero ticket is used to get a hero shard of your choice. To do this, go to your bag and select the shard ticket, and press use to whichever hero you want to claim. After that, go to the hero section and summon the hero you’ve chosen.
Leveling up Heroes
Leveling up your heroes will increase their stats. Just go to hero info then click LV UP. If they already reached the max level then the next thing that you need to do is evolve. Take note that there is a required Gold and Karma for you to raise the level of your heroes.
Hero Evolution
This is the way to further strengthen your hero. Heroes can evolve to the next grade once they reach a certain level. To evolve, just click the hero and tap the evolve button. Remember that you need a hero growth Material for you to upgrade your heroes.

Account Level Up
Every time you Level up your account you’ll receive jewels as a reward. Even if you’re away, your heroes will continue to battle and earn rewards. Rewards are accumulated as more time passes and it is available when the bar is full.
Chest
After clearing a dungeon there’s a chance that you’ll receive a chest wherein you’ll get rewards. The same chests require some time to be opened but you can use a speed up to open them instantly.
Equipment
Each hero has their own set of equipment and you can upgrade them to increase their stats. To upgrade, just tap an item and click LV UP to increase the level of the selected item. There is a required gold and gem for you to do this.
Equipment Evolution
Once you reach the max level, you can raise the item grade again. Equipment evolution is also the same with heroes and you need gold and rune to upgrade.
Cards
You can mount cards on your hero. Cards are items with special abilities. Take note that you can always unmount the card but keep in mind that only a portion of the upgrade materials will be recovered.
Portals
Portal is seen on the right side of the main menu. This is where you deal with monsters from other dimensions.
Before you proceed with the battle, you can view the information of the monsters that you’ll be facing so you can strategize and arrange your party.
At the lower left is where you can see the information on the rewards available in the current portal. To see all, tap the chest button on the left.
The more portals you clear, the better rewards you’ll receive and you can also become a ranker by reaching the highest portal the quickest.
Guild
You can join and create a guild after reaching level 10. Go to menu and under social click ‘Guild’. Joining a guild will lead to more activities so make sure to join one.
Guild Quest
Complete guild quest to get exclusive rewards such as Guild Coins. These are used to buy items in the Guild Shop. You can also obtain Guild coins by participating in Guild War and Explorations.
Guild War
Five Guilds are matched up against the other for a simultaneous battle.
- Each guild has a total of 9 Fortresses and 1 Main Castle that you’ll need to defend by up to 5 guild members
- You can only attack the Main Castle of the enemy if you already destroyed the 9 Fortresses
- Defeating an opponent with higher combat power can earn you higher points
Guild Explorations
Together with your guild members, you’ll explore unknown territories wherein you’ll encounter monsters. You can conquer those territories by defeating the monsters.
Guild Boss
Guild Boss is a weekly event wherein you need to defeat bosses.
- You can team up with your guild members
- You can also team up with up to 4 guilds to battle against the boss
- Every guild member will get a reward after killing the boss.
- The player who gets the last hit gets a bonus reward.
Mines
Mines are available if you are joined in a guild and this is where you kill monsters to get items and evolution stones. Each mine has a variety of difficulties that can be unlocked by clearing stages.
This feature is unlockable at level 11. and you need tickets for every instance of battle in the mines.
Blackmarket
Blackmarket is the place where you can purchase chests and cards. You need to have chips for you to be able to buy items from this shop.
Altar
Only available at level 25.
You can recycle hero shards that you currently have and turn them into Karma and Soul. You can now then use those Souls to summon a Hero.
Navigation
If you’re having a hard time navigating through the game, just press the menu button on the upper left. From here, you can go from place to place easily.
Gallery
This is where you can find the list of heroes, skills, and items that you can get throughout the game.
Shop
You can purchase items here using Gold and Jewels. It refreshes every day at 24:00 UTC.
Bag
This is where you can find your items within the game.
